I want to go see Alien Vs Predator: Requiem when it comes out on Boxing Day.

Also there's going to be a third Mummy movie starring Brendan Fraser and Jet Li. AWESOME

Just watching the Golden Compass at the moment. I don't get what the big fuss is about the movie being Anti-Christian

30 Days of Night wasn't exactly what I had expected, but it was still very well done, and overall awesome - it'll be one of my favorites for a while.

Just watched Will Smith's, I Am Legend. Really good movie in the guise of 28 Days Later. Definitely worth watching.

Saw Hitman last night - was ok, but I think I would've gotten a lot more out of it if I'd known something about the game (particularly judging by the giggles eminating from my gamer fiance!)

Really want to see Enchanted, looks like it'll be a bit of fun!

1408 - crap!! not at all scary, wasn't to keen on the ending (i saw a screener DVD so different from the one in the cinema apparently), and it was kinda all over the place. It explained some things and not others.. bit random at times.

I Am Legend - what can i say... AWESOME MOVIE!!! it is brilliant and as usual Will Smith is outstanding.. i highly recommend everyone goes to see it!!

and again serious on I AM LEGEND? People go see Omega Man - made back in 1971 (so you will need to get it on DVD) and stars Charlton Heston (a man's man acting back then). I am Legend is a movie based on a book. as is Omega Man (from the same book) which is also a rip off of the original movie The Last Man (or something like that....) so in effect Omega Man is also a rip off!!!

I got the Pirates of the Caribbean box set for xmas, so I have been watchin them lately. Such funny stuff...The bloopers are quite funny too!

Wouldn't mind seeing the new AVP, but be f*cked if I'm paying to go see it at the cinemas. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD

Saw I Am Legend today, awesome movie, didn't go too long, sweet as ending and there was actually a sad bit about mid-way, and the people who have seen it would know what I mean (the scene with the dog getting sick). Great movie!

Yeah it did get rather sad/drama like. A good movie, but I did expect a bit more by the previews etc.

Can't wait to see Alien VS Predator Requiem and also that Cloverfield or whatever its called thats been in the previews

Am going to see 27 Dresses on Wednesday night.. can't wait i've really wanted to see this film since they started advertising it!!

Watched the Russell Peters - Outsourced DVD last night (He's an Indian comedian for those who don't know) OMG.. it was so funny, and he used alot of new material. I've now see two of his routines and there were hardly any joke double ups.. so it was good to see a comedian with original materail!!

Saw 27 Dresses tonight...

It was a great movie.. very chick flick and quite predictable in the story line, but there were some very funny parts and for those that love their soppy-comedy-lovey type movies i guarantee you'll enjoy it!

I don't know about this movie.. not as funny as it say's it is, i ended up watching the whole thing, but by the end of it couldn't work out why i had even bothered.. even now i can't work out whether i like it or not.. it's definitely odd, and the movie tend's to go off on tangets. Wouldn't recommend it!

Watched The DaVinci Code (Directors Cut with an extra 25mins). I've read the book a couple of years back and loved it.. I thought the movie was really good. Alot of people have said bad things about this movie, but i thoroughly enjoyed it! I would recommend it for sure!

Beaches.. it's an old favourite. Watched it last night and bawled my eyes out at the end of it! I know how it's going to end and i've watched it god know's how many times.. but it's just done so beautifully it get's me all emotional everytime!

We watched American Pie: Band Camp the other night, twas pretty funny. I was expecting it be bad, but it was alright. Was a bit of over acting at the start, but was a giggle none the less.

Watched Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman) last night - brilliant film. Think I will have to watch it again!

That's just the review of the movie i wanted to hear! Johnny Depp and Tim Burton.. you can't go wrong with that partnership!!

Now i'm even more eager to see it!!

Umm, Die Hard number 4? Freaking awesome!! Very well done. Loved the stunts and the ideas behind it. No love story, no out of the blue nudity to keep the boys interested. Just one awesome movie. Bruce Willis was flawless!

Got Ratatouille on DVD the other night - loads of fun & brilliant animation. The detail in the rat's fur with the breeze blowing over it was quite amazing!

Just went on a date and saw The Mist, CRAP movie, bad acting, shocking looking aliens! The only PISS FUNNY thing was comments made by other people in the cinema, lmao!

I saw Jumper last night.

Action wise it was a good movie. Definitely kept you watching and very entertaining. Story wise, it was a good idea, but they really didn’t follow through properly. There were moments where they tried to delve into the history behind “Jumpers” and why this other group of people hate them so much, but they never expanded on it, and definitely left a lot of questions to be answered after the movie was finished.

A warning to those who suffer headaches and migraines – the camera moved around a lot. Now I’d understand this when they are “jumping” to give the effect of moving through space, but it was like someone with a shaky hand was holding the camera throughout the movie, moments when the characters were talking to eachother the camera moved about instead of strongly focusing on the characters. It gave me a major headache and a few scenes I actually had to stop watching because it was so irritating.

Because of the action sequences I think this is a good movie to see at the cinema, can’t deny the big screen makes it look better, but plot wise, if you don’t wanna spend the money just wait till it comes out on DVD.

I give it about 3 stars.

just watched No Country For Old Men - pretty gritty movie - I liked it though. A lot of killing in it. Just be worried if you see a guy with an air cylinder and something like an air hose from a servo!

Resident Evil - Extinction - Good movie!! I find it's very rare for movies to get to the 4th movie of the same idea/story line and still be good. The RE movies are awesome. Can't wait for the 5th hehe

Mallrats - Love this movie! Wasn't the first time I have seen it, just introducing it to Shane.

Equilibrium - I didn't watch much of it, but Shane did. I recomend it if you like The Matrix trilogy.

March of the Penguins - Soooo cute! I love doco's! But I fell asleep half way through lol. Very interesting first half though haha!

Family Guy Movie - Ninth Harvest - I think that's what it was called. Don't know what to say really, was quite disappointed. Wouldn't watch it again.

It's called Blue Harvest... and i thought it was hilarious! Watched it twice already!

I'll admit it had some funny parts. But I didn't find it OVERLY funny. I find more laughs in a half hour episode personally.

It's a documentary on the word and talks to people such as Alanis Morrisette, Billy Connelly, republicans, Screen writers and goes into depth about where the word comes from and its uses in the different media's today, and also asks how it became such an offensive word.

It was funny and interesting!!!

Watched The Bank Job with Jason Statham in it. Good drama based on a true story. Also saw Super High Me - so funny!

Hnacock - Loved it, but I love all Will Smith movies. I thought it was a good story line in how they've taken someone with 'good' powers who was a bad person, and turned him into a good person.

Kung Fu Panda - definitely not one of Disney Pixar's best. Bored me to tears.

21 - LOVED IT. Great story about the ups and downs of gambling.

What happens in vegas - very funny, light hearted romantic comedy. Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher are a good mix!

Over her dead body - again, a great light hearted romantic comedy. Was good to see Eva Longoria in something other than DH.

Saw the Dark Knight last monday ... Friggin awesome Didn't really like Batmans voice lol, but what can you do ... From about half way through the movie, I was actually shrinking in my seat from watching the joker ... I got disturbed deeply by that .. Was quite a long movie but the 2.5 nearly 3 hours seemed to fly by - mark of a good movie

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
Far out… this movie was hilarious!! Equally as funny as the first White Castle movie! I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard out loud! They didn’t run off the same jokes and although they did play on stereotypes a lot… was done in a brilliant way. It’s definitely a movie I recommend you see if you watched the first one and love it.

This second installment takes of STRAIGHT after the first one finishes, which I think is what makes it even better!

Wanted
This is one of those “leave your brain at the door” type of action movies. But admittedly, if you can get past the completely unbelievable action sequences it’s a really good movie! It gets straight into the action, it’s brilliantly done and it doesn’t tie you down to much with the story-line. Another great movie I recommend you see!!

(and for anyone interested… Angelina Jolie gets naked in it!!)

Alien Vs Predator: Requiem - Hated it. Haven't even finished it. Watched it for an hour. Nothing happened. Nothing to do with no alien fights. Switched it off. Storing it in the 'do not watch' pile.

The Hills Have Eyes 2 - absolute SHIT! watched and and its supposed to be a horror film but it didn't scare me in the slightest! more pathetic than anything!

Cocaine Cowboys - great film about the drug trade in Miami 70's/80's.

Fools Gold - Good, not as many laughs as I thought, but still an interesting movie!

Water Horse - Kid found an egg, was born, kept it in the bathroom, it ate, got huge, it died, a kid found another egg. The End :lol:

Weirdsville - Ummm...Not what I thought it would be. Was expecting comedy, was very drama based.

So true!! Talk about spoiler hahaha although there really isn't much to spoil. Only thing gd was the effects of the horsey thingamajig

Taken - predictable story but some really good gritty action!

Hancock
Not a bad movie.. i doubt i'd actually recommend it to anyone, and i'm glad i didn't pay to go see it! The story moved kinda slow in the first 20mins then it seemed like the director realised if he didn't speed it up he'd never get it done so then after that the story kinda went at warp speed.

I felt there were parts of the movie that should have been explained in more depth (ie where he's from and what that's all about) it would have made for a more interesting movie.. instead they went for more action and special effects.

Kung Fu Panda

I know what many of you have said about this film and quite frankly.. I ENJOYED IT!! I thought it was a good movie and really enjoyed the 2hrs on the couch!

I recommend this movie!

The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Warrior - same plotline as the last two - just missing Rachel Weisz.

Into the blue - not a new movie but still pretty interesting, goes a bit long though and I just wanted to go to bed

Hostel 1 & 2

Been sitting on my shelves since xmas. Whilst it is definitely not a movie I could have watched while I was pregnant it was not scary at all. Not even gruesome or gross as everyone hyped it up to be. Massive tits and sex fest for the first hour of number one. Half an hour of slight horror. While the second one had a higher horror theme it's not something I would rate as a horror movie at all. SAW FTW

I heard it isn't very good but I still wanna see it, previews look good

The Forbidden Kingdom

Saw this on Saturday night and i "think" i liked it! haha. I was actually expecting a more Chinese/Hong Kong Kung Fu movie but this was a little more "cheesy" then i was expecting! Still i enjoyed it for what it was! I think if you enjoyed Karate Kid & Mortal Kombat you'll probably enjoy this!

Hellboy

Watched it again on Saturday night in preparation for the second installment! Love this movie.. good action.. good humor.. good couple of hours on the couch! Nothing to indepth so didn't need to really think about it!

Can't wait for No. 2 to come out!!

Hellboy 2 has been out for awhile... I saw it the other night... Good movie and better than the first!!! You should see if you liked the first one

Also Taken is a great movie... lots of action, a bit far fetched in places but still pulls it off!

And Tropic Thunder is heaps funny!!!

just watched Hell Ride - another Quentin Tarantino film full of dialogues, nudity and of course violence. There are some great bikes in it though.

Never heard of Hell Ride.. how old is it?

Watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall on the weekend. It was a good movie, funny, but not hilarious like everyone has been telling me it is! I still recommend people see it coz it is good.. just don't expect laugh out loud hilarity!

Also watched The Other Boleyn Girl . This movie was great! Scarlett Johannsen looked as hot as ever! And Natalie Portmans role was ver well acted! 4/5

Watched We are the Night . I don't know what to think of this movie. For me it seemed to be a bit all over the place, but was still a good watch. 3/5

yeah seen that - very good film based on a true story - Jason doesnt get his gear off or does wild fight scenes if that is what you are expecting. It is a bit of a gritty film but he does really well in it. I really enjoyed it.

Death Race is a remake of an old film Death Race made in 1975 and had a very young Sly Stallone and David Carradine. Be interesting to see that film.

Crank 2 should be hilarious - Chev is back! Loved Crank

and yeah Jason is a good actor!

Saw Death Race on the weekend.. Jason Statham movie. Totally awesome! lots of action, fast cars, carnage, blood, guns damn what more could you want! plus doesn't tie you down with to much of a story line!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!

I went and saw In Bruges last week, it is actually pretty funny really good dialect and quiet witty. Has a pup fiction versus lock stock and two smoking barrels type theme.

Also if you have not been out yet and seen Hellboy 2, go do it bloody awesome movie, lots of action, witty jokes and very little storyline like most movies like this.

Ultraviolet - HATED it. Way too much CGI. So much that when Milla was front on her nose disappeared. Not cool. STory line lacked. Same old shit about her having some disease. Leave it to Resident series I say
