Actually last time I went to Earth, which was a few weeks ago it was friggin awesome!! Tunes were awesome. Crowd was awesome. Couldn't have asked for a better night to be honest. There was maybe 4 people in rave attire there. The rest of the people were dressed normally

every time i've been there i've had violent people push me over - strangers i hadn't spoken to.
Crowd has been generally agressive
a patron nearly died from a o.d, i pointed it out to security and they just get chucked out on the street
tried to make me pay for water in a glass and when i walked off with a glass without paying - which is my freaking right as a human being - i was questioned by security for it and nearly made to leave
not to mention toilet security lady...
VERY average sound set up. everytime i've been there both main acts have stopped, and asked for the techy to get their shit together cause it sounded crap....

....a little worried about my ebay purchase.. i won and paid for this item on Thursday last week and i haven't had any correspondence back saying whether it has been posted!! They said 1-6working days for delivery! hmm.. hope i get it soon....


I think i know who your talking about there... my friends and i and other patrons as i recall have made numerous complaints about her.

I've found that earth isn't to bad.. just don't go in with high expectations! but must admit the crowds there have alway's been pretty friendly IMO.

For as long as I can remember Earth have charged for glasses of water. IMO I don't agree with it but what can you do? They have signs at the bar saying that they do so in their eyes you were stealing for a service that they provide.

I do agree with the lady the patrols the female toilets. She is ruthless. Not to mention a complete bitch.

No two clubs, in my opinion are the same. Everyone, everywhere could always do their job better or handle situations better. Fact.

I just worry about myself and my friends when I go out. Not the security or the general crowd. Probably because, especially these days, going out is a rarity. So I don't bother fussing over the small things. If I don't like something I either ignore it or move on.

they don't charge for the water, they charge for the service. A lot of places do so.

and Lucy is dead right in that earth is no worse than any other club for the odd occasional violent person / handle situations better / do their job better etc...

Yup, that's what their signs say at Earth. I understand charging for a service. I'm still in two minds about charging for tap water in itself, the service I understand though. But I think that's a bad experience from somewhere else tht has caused this, not Earth.

no - its illegal to not SERVE water... dish-washing fee is a joke.
If i was intoxicated (not that i have been there) and couldn't PAY for a glass of water, i could be VERY VERY sick.
Plenty of people there are inebriated also, if they couldn't drink they COULD get into trouble, not to mention just get thrown out on the street without help - safe

At the moment, they tell me my weight, then for my height - instead of telling me my % of body fat, it says ERROR.
