There are 6.6 billion people in the world. Do you believe that there is one person for you? Your True Love? The one person you're meant to be with? The one that completes you? heart.gif heart.gif

i never used to believe it, I had a few Ok relationships and had disasters too, a few times swearing off men forever! But then Jase came into my life and it was different, like a two pieces of a puzzle fitting together. I just knew. wub.gif

What about you guys? What are your thoughts?
{Bunny}r
I'm pretty much the same...Been in and out of relationships...But I fell head over heels in love with Ace, and in the first few weeks we both knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, and that we knew it would work too.

Dav and i have our ups and downs... but i love him and would love to spend the rest of my life with him

i love you baby x x x x

They are seperate questions though. At the time you probably do feel that you love this one person so much and they can be 'the one'. But u can feel the same and truly love many different ppl in your lifetime and many ppl can be compatible with you to last a lifetime.

As there are 6.6billion ppl out there, I dont think that there is that person your 'meant' to be with (and coincidentally you both live in this small town of 1million ppl) but two ppl can find each other who both do truly love each other and willing to give up everything to be with that person and tolerate each other enough to spend their lives together.
Elektro Kittenr
Of course there is someone for everyone. Not everyone meets their 'one' in their home town though. But thats what makes the adventure more fun! But i also beleive there are friends and people you have 'contracts' with, like you know they will be in your life for a certain time to serve a purpose. Some of those people last forever, some you let go of.

True love is possible. And it can come up get you when you least expect it smile.gif just believe in it

same!! Although I never did have a bad relationship before meeting Toby I definitely knew almost right away that we would be together for ever. He realised it quicker than I did but I wasn't far behind and everything in my life to date "made sense" the day I met him.

Im the same as mich and Marcia. Ive found my peice of the puzzle, and i knew the first time i met her which was over a year before we got together. I remember telling my mate on that night that Danni was the girl i was going to marry... It was wierd.

I also had relationships with the ups and downs, but i had a great time test driving...i mean.. searching for that special someone winksmiley02.gif

There is someone for everyone, and if you havent found that person yet, keep looking.... or maybe your just gay and dont know it yet. Lube, Aisle 9.

I've always known there was one person out there made for me - I expected to go through a lot of trouble to one day stumble across them (I assumed this would happen much later in life) .. but instead I've already found her; and she was under my nose the entire time smile.gif

Fairy tale relationships are the most fantastic and uplifting things ever. I can only hope everyone else gets to experience half of what I do, otherwise it sux to be you laugh.gif

I disagree with this statement...I have loved 3 people but never thought at each time that they were all "the one"

I was with JB and I could not see us working out in the present future for certain reasons, but I could see us having a distant future together ie living together, kids etc. So this told me that he wasn't the one for me.

Then there was Brenden. I could see us having a present future but I could not see us working out in the distant future. So again, I knew that Brenden wasn't the one for me.

Then when I met ACE. I could see us working out in both the present and the distant future. We clicked so well, have so much in common and want much the same things. So this and many other things told me that ACE is the one for me.

Like you said there are 6.6 billion people in the world. There isn't just ONE true love for just ONE person. You may meet more than one person in your lifetime that you'll wanna spend the rest of your life with. There isn't just one special person for each person. So far, i've met two guys that i thought were 'the one' (s) at different stages in my life.

But as time changes a person and you grow in different ways, you'll meet different loves to help accommodate and support that.

Watch sex and the city … I think it's season 5 or something. One of the episodes talks about finding your soulmate and that there isn't just that one soulmate that specifically connects to you.

Do you believe that there is one person for you? The one person you're meant to be with? The one that completes you?
No… Believing that there is just ONE person out there for you is pretty much setting you up to fail! It was just stated that there are 6.6 billion ppl in the world, how do you know the one for you isn’t that crusty 60yr old guy sitting in the gutter half way across the world? I don’t believe that there is an infinite amount of soulmates for ppl, but I do believe that there is more the one.

This is just the way I think because I know that on of my ex’s is my soulmate. What we have was and is something very special, but in the end it just didn’t work maybe we were only supposed to be so close for a short amount of time, doesn’t mean he’s not my soulmate.

Your True Love?
I definitely believe in true love.
Konstantiner
I believe theres someone in this world that I'll love more than anyone else, and have them love me more than anyone else... Its's just a matter of bumping in to them at some stage... tongue.gif.

To sum it up, Yeah I guess I do believe in it, having seen it happen to quite a few of my friends. It seems to happen when you least expect it to as well.

Also a good point. Everytime you fall in love, it seems like its so much better than the last time. Emotion is a crazy thing.

Exactly, there could be several people that you can be compatible with and love and have nice life with...BUT there is always one that you'd prefer above all others... its all about timing. winksmiley02.gif

Oh and my input... True love does not exist in my life... everytime my heart gets given away it gets torn to shreds...
courtz_bvcru87r
True love exists .. its just that too many of us get 'love' confused with 'lust' and thats where the problems begin winksmiley02.gif

As for me .. I've been in love a couple of times .. never thought I was going to marry the person (even though they believed they were going to marry me), I'm in love right now but its not a deep love, that takes time to grow and when I do finally get into that stage I'm going to be the happiest girl around biggrin.gif But it won't happen till I learn to love myself ..

I tend not to think about these things too much though, take each day as it is and live in the now!!
SPiDERr
Yes biggrin.gif Met/seen/perved on many girls who I could get old with, but theres still only 1 that would be the perfect match above all, opinion on that hasnt changed in 13 years and most likely never will regardless of who else I end up with.. oneeyed01.png

Another awesome point by Courtz! Although me, personally, I am more of a deep person. I like to sit back and think if my current situation is going to last all the way into a distant future, just because I have been f*cked around by guys SO much. And I like to know whether I should have fun with it, or take it seriuously. Maybe not the way someone else would go about it, but everyone handles their relationships differently.

I believe in true love. I first met my husband when I was 15 and he was the only guy in the group who didn't try hitting on me or make me feel uncomfortable.

4 years later when we had both seperated from our exes we started hanging out. Let it go for a few years coz i went back to my stoopid ex... never forgive myself for that then a few years ago, after NO contact whatsoever - we bumped into eachother and fell in love all over again... Now we are married and having the time of our lives (hence my username). I always knew we were meant to be but the timing had to be right...

Next up babies hehehehe

YOu attract in to your life what you think about. I put it out to the universe years back i wanted someone just like this : wrote out long list, pictures etc.. and although it didn't happen straight away, it happened.

True love is something you have to invite into your life, and always comes when you least suspect it. Which is great smile.gif gotta love sweet surprises
