I'm gonna go dressed as a fire speced imp.. yes indeedy..

I wanted to go but tickets are at $126 a pop but includes all alcohol and finger food. For an extra $55 you can sit in the VIP room and enjoy massages, strippers and a lot of other decadent things as well.

Nobody else can afford to go so I'm missing out

Lol I tried that. and they are like "NO" but they have given pay in like .. Petty Cash before to my friend so I threw a complete wobbly.. but you can only go so far.. because its a security office.. and i'll get removed.

Thats is absolute crap. You are entitled to YOUR cash and they should be paying it. Its not there fault the pay person has stuffed up your pay. It will take them a whole of 30mins to get it right. Theres no excuse for this behavor from them. What was there excuse for not fixing it up straight away?

but the upside of psycho's are that they are quite spontaneous

I feel sorry for all the guys and girls who put so much money and effort into this night and still went home with no one...

I mean seriously...Who can justify spending that much money on ONE night?

Saw heaps of the Deperadoes at Earth at the after party...And alot of them were still going home alone, or only going home to a One Night Stand

I'd like to hear some stories of couples who went to and met at one of these things a year or more ago and are STILL together...

I reckon How was the thing at Earth? I was gonna check it out but it slipped my mind

Yeah town was packed with them. The city was trashed so much garbage threw rundle mall and hindley st. I was at earth from 5 till close and there where a few in there.

My fiance and I met at the D&D in 2005! Our wedding is in April this year

We weren't matched up, we met on the dance floor. We found out we were both ravers, got chatting and the rest...as they say...is history!

We both went with the intention of having a great night with friends, I didn't get partnered up with anyone as I didn't want to be stuck with a weirdo! My fiance did but, in his words, he did a "walk by" and decided his "match" wasn't worth meeting!!

So....I guess you can be lucky enough to met the right person

Nice One!! Glad there are some good stories etc that came from it. Its great when you hear people meeting up and getting a real future together. I say all the best in the future for you and your partner

Aww...Who cares how you met, the thing is that you're together! The whole meeting story is a bit old fashioned anyway. Nothing is all rosey and perfect. Hell I met my partner 5 times before I even realised who he was Stupid alcohol!

And besides, that's what the DnD ball is for - meeting someone special

free drinks = no money thru tills = fantastic night behind the bar!!...aside from all the cut fingers from pulling so many tabs on cans

Was hoping to have a tonne of stories for everyone but we were so flat out from start to finish that we didnt really get to see much altho a lot of the guys were highly amusing once drunk hehehe plus i got free food and a drink after too so not a bad night at all

Funniest night out in a long time was last year's D n' D ball - had absolutely no idea it was on, but had dinner at the Gov across the road before heading to the basketball. Seeing all the D n' D people all dolled up & meeting their dates was the most hilarious people-watching exercise ever!

A few tips: don't borrow your big brother's suit unles it fits, don't wear a mini-skirt or a dress with a split to the hip if you plan to get rollicking drunk, break in your heels BEFORE the big night, wear waterproof mascara and safari suits are great fun but they are not to be taken seriously if you want to get laid
