I Want One Of These!
I saw this a few years ago, and wanted one .. hell, I wanted two.
Somehow over the years I forgot this thing existed, and now you've reminded me - so I must get/steal one, pronto.

i want one too yes.
not available until late 2007 though
Pretty damn cool... any idea on what the price would be?
fitty cent
Multipoint Dollars
Hmm..if you changed your controls ingame in Quake would it change on the keyboard, or is it programmed to show default ones only?
it would change on the keyboard... it's programed to show exactly what each key is controling at that point in time... so if u change it in game... it'l cahnge on the keyboard's key screens...
Having that said, I'll put one on layby now!!!

Yeah these things are crazy... With a crazy price as well I'm sure..
I'ld gladly pay up to $130 for it.. but I'ld imagine it would be much more.
I've also seen a laser "virtual keyboard"
Basically It projects a keyboard onto a flat surface useing laser beams, you just tap your fingers on the surface and it senses the position of your fingers while u type.

CRAZY STUFF!!
There is also the "Zboard" which is a base, with multiple keyboard plug-in's that u can unplug and fold up, and replace with different types (typing keyboard, FPS gaming keboard).

And also the less extreme Logitech G15 keyboard which is what I currently use.
Basically an oversized keyboard with many extra buttons, and LCD display to show either gaming info (ammo, health etc) or system resources, time etc. and the coolest part is the blue glow underneth the keys, and also the letters on the keys themselfs. perfect for night time use!

I would imagine this keyboard would have a background program that sits in the system tray and "maps" the different key setups, Like my Logitech G15 gaming keyboard.
Its kinda a pain because u have to manually program the additional keys (18 addition fuction keys on mine) yourself. But u can also download profiles that other users have made already.
Now call me obsessed about keyboards.. but I problem am. I have to many of them laying around.. change them like underwear (1/4 yearly)
I love technology!!
