but seriously, i could never get into their music, but i love to see a good excessive stageshow coming to adelaide!

ah, after getting picked as one of the freaks to be shown on their big screen at the Zoo TV tour of 92/93 (I think it was) no U2 concert will top that for me

....and not much U2 have done lately has really excited me much...am I just getting old....yes, yes I think I am

Hope everyone that did go had fun though......having seen U2 three times before I know they put on a great show!!!

from about 12am till 2am it was non stop at work filled with ppl that had gone to U2, my manager bought a ticket off a customer yesterday, he was hoping someone wuld replce his shift but they ddnt so he missed it n gave his ticket to some other workmate.
by non stop i mean ppl wer lining up the whole length of the store, n probly waiting outside too, fro two hours it ddnt let up and wen it did it wuld come in bursts... we wer going crazy we almost ran out of stock, we had to get a manager from another store to bring there stuff over and help us out.. i was in burger room n we wer joking about for every 400 burgers we take off a piece of clothing.. there wer too many ppl!

there were 60,000 people there last night but even with that large number there it wasnt sold out.

60,000 and not sold out? See why cant they do that with Chilli Peppers instead of having some piss weak venue for such a big event

I went and it was AWESOME!! So stop making fun of them! I thought it was great....specially that big screen with all the colours and lights....pretty trippy!! I was right up the front in the centre...I had the best view!! Except all the other people.....damn tall people...oh well

yeah it was pretty packed....and it WAS sold out....but I noticed that there were still seats in the stands empty...I figured it was because some people couldn't go because of the date change and weren't able to sell or give their tickets away....thus empty seats.....but you wouldn't notice it down there in the mosh pit! There were four thousand people let into the front elipse thingy....yep we were special

All in all...a very good night out!

why was kanye west (sp?) playing?????

When the tickets went on sale in february, it got sold out almost immediately...I got really lucky with the GA tickets (That I never got to use ).

Then they realeased more tickets...typical!

And I wish they'd do the same for the Chilli Peppers, I'd love to go to that too!
