i've been plaing DnB in my sets for 18 months or so and i finally got a around to putting one some on a happy hard mix recently. but it is something i have done for a while.

had the dicussion with a few people and those that know me know that my sound has kinda progressed from the raver baby end of happy hard and i have ventured into more of a cross over bouncy sound, still cheesy but not quite the same sort of cheese if you get what i mean. basically i'm having a dilema, i'm putting hexcore cd's out about every 6 to 8 months or so and they are an anthems based cd, tbh they don't really reflect the sound i'm into atm or the sound i particularally want to be know for, sure the tunes are wicked and i enjoy them but i also want to move on. problem is i think i've built up an expection on the hexcore series so i ask this question of you anthems followers-

with hexcore 5 should i-
A} keep them the same anthemy crowd pleasing sound
B} Change the sound to push boundaries
C} leave the Series the way it is and continue doing them half yearly and then start another series dedicated to the different sound?

Don't get me wrong i love the tunes on this cd and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone else in adelaide playing most of them but i feel as a DJ and honestly one of the few pushing this sound i should expose you to something other than the "Raver Baby sound" it's hard enough to play this style in adelaide as it and (hopefully) i've managed to get some people into the tunes but do i stick with the tried and tested or try something new only for people to come back and say i like the old stuff better.

I'll leave it with you lot cos you're the people that dance and listen to it so help me out!

Cheers

Hex
