what chat programs do people use?

since getting a mac i mostly use ichat which syncs with aol messenger and .mac, but these are mostly US i think..

when i used a PC i used to use trillian which synced with most everything i think..

MSN? IRC? other?

i prefer msn! easy to use! fun! good layout. dont need to waste my time with anything else.

Just really use MSN now...used to use ICQ a few years back...and IRC...
I just like how MSN stores your contacts somewhere online...so everytime windows trashes itself...I dont lose all my contacts!

ICQ has done that for about 4 or 5 years...if not longer

icq is still the best... i don't get ANY spam on it... but everyone else tells me they do?? why is that...

I hate ICQ for the shear fact in how agressive the program is...

In on instance it even installed itself on my computer, without me realising it, then started itself up with that infamous ICQ horn and cut me off from my other processes that were running...

I also used to get all these ICQ forwards, and it opens up gate for viruses... so I don't like it that much...

MSN is easy... all good..

Yeah, I like MSN too.

That's a bit harsh, ICQ closing down everything else while it decides to start up! Bugger that!
