ive been looking for this for ages and i happened to find it today. pretty cool site if you want to know the origins of electronica and the names of genres.... it even has small samples of the genres so you can put the name to the sound.

I love this .. and in our scene it is most definitely needed, as there are way too many sub-genres and spin-offs now-a-days to ever know them all
