They can do all ages events and still serve alcohol. Its a tough job for security thought to police as i helped a mate doing security one night with a heavy metal band and he was only one rostered on. Was a big night to say the least. But what was done there was people with id got those enchanted style wrist bands that go on once and if pulled off are useless. So we checked id's and people with over 18 got wrist bands and people under didn't. It can be done just takes a little more preperation and some good security staff.

Mm its a bit different with raves becoz of the none alcohol but still consuming patrons, its a big risk to have, if undercovers walk thru an 18+ rave they will tell ya to close early if there are kids there it wuld be a bit different. thats why theres no more raves at the adelaide goal, and the rist band thing is risky too.. your sure to have at least one or two underage ppl get past it...

its also not an easy task to get 500 people in the same place at the same time unless you have a crap load of money to spend on promoting....
"build it and they will come", doesnt really apply here.
a small budget can go a long way.. i saw first hand all it took for hard evolution..
Last year i had a 'meeting' with
PaulHamon coz i got really serious about this, found out so many things, also found out so many things from the promoters dalbz talked to other than the hamon....
i went to an allages rave earlier this yr with fulcrum and lifeaura.. these guys did it for there birthday, there wer about 4/5 of em, 17-21.. i made good frends with two of em coz i tried selling em tickets for hard evo, now everytime one of em sees dalbz or hears about another show hes always saying he can get cheap lights and sound and really wants to help out.. they lost $700 on there rave, but they did it and theyr keen to do it again...
