A triffid was a particularly vicious carnivourous plant, possibly alien or genetically modified, who enjoyed snacking on humans.

Er, you've made me realise i haven't typed it in right! It's supposed to read "Say it with flowers - send a triffid..."

but although it's been a .sig file of mine since 1994, it didn't have a nice enough vibe for here - hence the anthems disclaimer...
