I'm just curious how many anthemites are currently in University.

The only ones I know of are the people who I got into raves with in the first place (Shadow and Candy_Cat) .. so, is there anyone else out there who is currently at University?

If so .. what are you studying, how long do you have left, what University are you at, and so forth?

Adelaide Uni - on North Terrace.

Lauren and I are both doing Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology, Josh has changed his major to Anthropology, but the past two years he was doing Psych .. that's how we all met, etc.

nice... psyc is statistics based is it not? so there'd be a fair bit of that in ur course?

They have a separate course that you have to do to continue on with Psych .. it's called Psychological Research Methodology, and it deals with all the statistics stuff (quantitative and qualitative research methods).

I don't mind stats too much though, so that part of it is fine with me.

I hate all the engineering maths... it makes sense but such complications!! Physics is beautiful, because it's all straight forward and makes sense!!

I work in a completely different section and there are that many people who work at the uni anyway.

Flinders Uni, currently deffering, hoping to change courses when i go back tho....being a lab rat for the rest of my life just doesnt sit well with me LOL

Started doing a bach in psycho - 2 yrs, changed my mind...
Moved onto bach in mathematics - 2 yrs changed my mind...
Currently bach sci, major comp sci, minor math.
YAWN! Over the Uni stuff, need a break.

As I am nearing the end of my possible last semester at uni I have been wondering how many other uni students are ravers. There are 3 that I can think of straight away. So how many more are there???

What are you studying? And what do you want to do when you finish? I'm talking to TAFE students too or Apprentices or anyone who knows they wont stay in their job forever.

I am personally Studying A Bachelor of Social Sciences and hope to do Honours in Anthropolgy next year. This will hopefully lead me to studying youth drug and rave culture.

So what do you study?

i studied fashion design at tafe for a year, but i'm taking some time off to reassess...have a strong feeling i won't be going back...wouldn't mind doing a major in english lit...hopefully to progress to being a writer, maybe to cover the same subject of the rave and youth culture...it's a rather enigmatic subject

Well, i've already stated earlier, but i finish my B.ARTS this year...
the problem i face is that
a) i have 21 lovelies that i teach music to that i don't want to give up, thus don't want a full-time job
looking for something ppt to fill in 3 days a week - but i don't want something shit given i have a degree
c) i have to make a decision now...

any clues???

I study Psychology at UniSA at Magill, just in my first year...finding it pretty interesting but just cant stand the assignments....can see there are more people doing psych on here then i would've thought

Did programming last year at mawson lakes, shit hole. changed over to something i at least have an interest in, dunno what the hell made me pick programming in the first place....stupid stupid mistake there...

i finished all my study last year...so good to be over, and a piece of paper sayin 'diploma in screen'

i am part way thru my design studies degree which leads on to architecture... but now im doing digital media as an elective and loving it so much im thinking of a career change.

i just wanna stay at uni for longer.... i love it there.

I have an awesome career with great pay...

........But I still dont know what I want to do or be in life. I wouldn't mind getting into property, or maybe IT....

Yeah I'm still at uni... will be there another 1 1/2 semesters after this one... so end of next year i'm moving to perth, doing a postgrad Masters, or PhD if possible in Astrophysics or Quantum physics...

When i'm finished studying i'm goin to europe, workin for the European Space Agency.

Im doing a bachelor of management at unisa, 1st year, i love it... so far

I've just put in my application for graduation this December .. everything is going well, and with any luck I'll be free in about 14 weeks time

we got open days at adelaide uni tomorrow. i really need to get into the architecture building to finish this group assgnment due monday.
i'll probably have to wear a suit to be allowed up there tomorrow tho... gotta keep up the image or architecture..
