and even tho ive been coming to everything.. and every sunday event i always make the same comments... Rental companys dont shut on ANY DAY! even christmas!!!

stupid customers ( that means all of ytou out there that hire vehicles) tend to like ot use long weekends as a time to move house... making me have to work

tho ..... i should be able to get it off...

asianfunkphenomena30 Jul 2006, 9:02pm

The great thing about this is I tol my boss I cant work mondays because of Uni. And sundays, the days I usually do close, we close at 9, so I can still make it to the show on time and not have to worry about booking the day off work. Convenient. Theres been three ark shows since I started raving, as far as I can remember, and Ive missed all three. This one I'll make it. I dont care if I have to walk there in the rain during a thunderstorm with gale force winds with a broken umbrella and no pants. I'm THERE

I have one of those neoprene ones which have the 3 velcro straps on it. Which I found worked really well. I had days where my knee could not support any weight let alone impact and that helped heaps...

~Em~2 Oct 2006, 1:45pm

I was in a crap mood to start the night... contemplated going home several times....
UNTIL...

Devo and MPK. OMFG!!! Its the first time I've seen these guys do a back to back old school set, and... what can I say... so glad I didn't go home! Thanks for turning my mood boys

Mr S.... I knew you wouldn't disappoint!! Shame about the interruption

Perhaps they'll take that as a subtle hint not to use the damn smoke machine so much!!!
but how awesome was the crowd when you came back on the decks!! (psst... whats the track you dropped at that point? I know it... but mental blank >< was it I don't care-Tony De Vit?)

and the highlight of my night... HARDCORE!!! Great set... even tho I was running in and out to try and escape the heat for a few minutes and cool down. All I needed to hear was Masterplan and 6 days... absolutely STOKED! Love you H-Bomb!!!

Apologies to anyone I was rude to last night...

I was in a shocker of a mood. and i know thats no excuse... so I do honestly apologise!!!

Had an absolute blast playing that set.. glad they sorted the sound out the power fairly quickly and got to play a couple more.. Yeah it was TDV - I Don't Care that seemed to be the perfect tune to send people jumping back on the dancefloor.

Good to catch up with Angus & Madness too as I don't see the guys too much these days.

Well done to all ionvolved for another quality event

Perfect alright... watching the whole dynamic of the room change from standing and chatting, to having a groove when you were playing the intro to the track, and then seeing everyone CRANK and cheer when the bass kicked in was definitely one of the finer points of the evening

Yes!

It was also great to catch up with ATB and H-Bomb also.

I dont get the chance to see any of these crazy old men anymore, and it has seriously been years since ive spoken to them. I should go out more... or start a 'babysitters lunch club' or some shit.

Cheers to all for a tops night.

Cheers to bourbon guts... Havent seen that in along time either.

SUPERSHOOTER2 Oct 2006, 4:20pm

KittiChik2 Oct 2006, 5:11pm

Was definately THE BEST night out i have had in years!!

Was great to meet some new ppl and put faces to alot of the names...

meika2 Oct 2006, 8:30pm

I had a great night too! EXCEPT, at some stage during the evening my camera was stolen! It was a Canon Powershot and if anyone knows its whereabouts I would be grateful if you could PM me! Otherwise, if someone knows its whereabouts and has no intention of returning it, it would be GREATLY appreciated if you could burn the photos that are on there onto a disc and post them to:\
Att: Kylie
PO 369 Marden SA 5070
The camera is replaceable! The photos on there are not!
I know I am prbably pushing my luck but its worth a shot! There are photos on there from my mates 30th which are the only ones in existence!
Call me sentimental!
Your help would be greatly appreciated! My purse was also stolen last week so its been a bad run!

ah, Tom...yes it was good to see him again....its been way too long also

I started the night off running on three hours sleep and in desperate need of more, but before long the wicked vibe of the crowd got to me so big ups to everyone in attendance that made the event what it was....just a cranker of a good night.... I saw many smiling faces, and isn't that what its all about

Toby & I were on the verge of calling it a night & then we heard Artemesia's Bits & Pieces - couldn't leave the dance floor after that! You helped us make it through to about 3.30am on only a Red Bull & a few Dead Lizards (coke plus red cordial, yum!!)

Monday morning at close of Ark anthems i found a jacket (details above) at the 3 booth at the back of the room where all the anthems crew were sitting. As there was no one there and everyone was heading out i grabbed the jacket, and am now looking for the owner!
