I was just listening to a Nick Sentience mix on HHUK and thought to myself "if this dude ever comes to Adelaide, I'll be there for sure".

Then you posted and I found out it was at Earth, so instead I'll just stay home

i listenbed to one of his CD's the other day actually.. the one with the back ground DVD of visuals..

but being a friday i woudlnt go.. as no doubt is sets woudl start after midnight. and since i start work again at 7:30am, no chance id stay late enuff to see him.

That's an incorrect umbrella statement.

If Noisia were at Earth I wouldn't have gone to see them.

The logic? It actually comes from the love of the DJ(s) and a good night out. The last thing I want to do is go see Nick Sentience/DJ in question, then come home and say "I went and saw such and such but I had a shit night" - I'd rather wait .. even if it ends up being a year or more to see them at another venue and say "I went and saw such and such and I had a brilliant night".

hmm... i think it comes down to the crowd.
sometimes i can go to an event at earth and have a really shit night, other times it can be really good...

i think it totally depends on the atmosphere created by the ppl who come to see the DJ in question.

anyway... i'm sure it's gonna be a great crowd at Nick Sentience.
