Service Crew Wanted

I am looking for anyone who would be willing to help out as part of our service crew for Toyota Rally of SA. The rally is held over 2 days in Mt Crawford forest on August 19th and 20th.

Ideally looking for anyone who has some mechanical / car knowledge but otherwise anyone who can just help out would be appreciated.

Please let me know if your interested in helping out. Otherwise, it would be great just to see some familiar faces out there and supporting both Tini and Madaz_Chick as the take on the there first Australian Rally Championship event in the Datto... :D

I'ld be interested in this! I have always wanted to help out in something like this :D it would be fun :)

I used to do a fair bit of work on my old '76 Celica so I know the basics of replacing a gearbox/diff/axle (hehe :rolleyes: ) and also basic engine eletrics and fuel setup (I miss my twin webbers). I'm also an expert at beating the hell outa something with a hammer until it works/fits :D

Maria knows me well.. and I'ld love to help her out on the rally adventrue. especially on an old datto :)

but can't guarentee dates atm, so get 2 others that can first, and if i can go, i'll just be a third leg :)

Foonji, if possible, I would much rather get you out on the course taking pictures for us, If that is ok??

I will give you a set of course maps when the time comes so that you can plan your locations. I was unable to organise a press pass for you, but you will still be able to access most places anyway.

Who's keen to pack up the car, stock the esky and head up as spectators?

I can borrow my olds four wheel drive, which can comfortably seat 5, plus take up all the deck chairs, esky's etc that we'll need.

this would be awesome, i have a basic knowledge of cars and what not and would love to offer my assistance in such a cool event so let me know if you need an extra set of hands :)

I would like to thank everyone who expressed interest in helping us out at ROSA.

Unfortunately, I have had more interest than I currently have positions for. I PM'd you all yesterday to find out your availability and also contact numbers, and will be incontact with you all again soon.

I will be holding a service crew meeting in the near future and I will be contacting those who people we would like to join as part of our team for this event. This meeting will be to inform you all of where we need to be, when, what to bring, what to expect, what is required etc. I am still finalising a lot of details including getting the car ready.

There will be 2 other rally events later in the year which we may need help with also. So if you don't help us with this event, you may still get the opportunity then.

And for those who aren't helping out, It would be awesome to see you out there supporting us!!
