Reminds me of the Chaser's War on Everything. They did an 'ad road test' to see if it's true what the ads say.
He went into rundle mall or something, spraying himself constantly with lynx and everyone ran away.
He even went to the Lynx factory i think, and the women there were horrified, and running away.
