Hey all
As the topic suggests, I need some advice but not the help part yet.
In the next year or three, I'm looking at quitting the casino business and running my own little business. I'm looking at leasing an entertainment venue and owning an entertainment/arcade business. It seems like a long shot but its always been my dream to own my own arcade since I was a a lil boy. Anyone remember the old Downtown with the rollerskating rink? It was way way back but something I'll never ever forget. I originally wanted to lease the venue formerly known as Tilt but thats gone now; and it wont happen as they've divided that place up. I'd love to build one in the city coz theres definitely a market for it there...primarily school kids and uni students.
I've been a chef and managed a few restaurants for my dad, but owning and managing an entertainment/arcade business is a whole new ball game.
Theres so many questions to ask but I dont even know where to start. My biggest question would be is how to do it all on the cheap?? I'm gonna go back to Uni but not do my Psychology degree...gonna give Marketing/Management a try! This will help wont it??
I'm so unsure of this but its worth a punt i reckon.
Any feed back would be appreciated.
