Pirates Versus Ninjas!

Considering my birthday party preference ill have to go with pirates 2


....might change next year tho

I think ill have to swear my allegiance to ninjas.... O.o

Lets look at pro's and con's
Pirate's have much more modern missile projectile weapons that can kill you if they hit you
Ninja's have projectiles that will hit you and can kill you most likely will
Pirate's can sail accross water
Ninja's can walk accross water
Pirate's attack in numbers and will always out number a ninja 100 to 1
Ninja's are able to wipe entire army's by themselves
Pirate's have much more technology
Ninja's can fly, catch and dodge bullets

I know which one i'd rather be

my son just had a pirate birthday party so im a bit over the whole talking like a pirate bit ya haaaarr me hearties hoist yar busty whench over ye main sail

so im gonna go with ninjas. they would definately kick more butt imo

ninjas.. i never wanted to be a pirate but if i go recruited by the secret ninja society I'd take it up in a heartbeat. Black suits me. Ruffle blouses, pantaloons and shoulder parrots do nothing for my complexion!

what about ninja pirates? best of both worlds i'd think...

ninja's kick serious arse, their knowledge of poisons, weaponry and martial arts rivals any pirates drunken swinging of a rapier. would rather be a lone wolf for hire than trapped on a boat with a bunch of feral rum drunken guys who couldn't spell 'cat' if you gave them the hint of "it starts with a C"...

ninja 4 sure. if a pirate gets his hands on ya ur drfinately dead, but they make so much noise u know they r comin and u can run, a ninja will slice u in to 100 pieces and u wouldnt even know they were there

kunai, shuriken and katanas are much better weapons than cutlasses, rapiers, estocs etc. etc.

the japanese knew how to make good weapons, just take the legendary smith Masamune for example.

back in the day, a weaponsmiths masamune and murasame (i think, correct me on this one) both proclaimed to be the best in the land, and a contest was proposed to find out. each was to place their finest blade in a slow stream, and send a leaf down the stream toward it. murasame's blade sliced the leaf clean in half, but masamune's blade seemingly deflected the leaf from it's path, so masamune was declared the winner as his swords were magic or something.

true story! it's japanese history.

the way a sword used to be tested in ye olde japan was a blade would have to cut a slave from the trapezius - the muscle that connects your shoulder to your neck - to just above the hip on the opposite side of the body - nice lil diagonal slice. if the blade failed to cut all the way through it was destroyed and the weapon smith was shamed... used to be a great honor to be that slave too... guess it's the same way that it's an honour to fight for a politcal system of one country on another countries soil, it's so noble to do someone elses bidding...

back on topic: pirates would be far richer than their black clad counter parts though...

ninjas dont care for material wealth though.. the ones that do become nightblades, and they would be extremely wealthy
