Well, what was your first car?


mine was a lil white 92/93 Ford Festiva, which was writen off when a guy hit my sister in it.

My first official car was a mitsubishi magna- it was red- wrote it off in less then a week :lol: Whoops!!
Before that i was borrowing a lime green manual gemini- at least i think it was a gemini- was so COOL it was still in miles per hour :wub:

Mine was a bright pink suzuki sierra, with a soft top....ultimate barbie car....boy did I get some weird looks in that one :lol:

I will never own a convertible again though, after a drive on a summers day with the top down....worst sunburn EVER <_<

Is this a car we bought for ourselves, or does one someone bought for us (even though it was their choice) count too?

In which case a 2000 Hyundai Accent is what I was "given".

.. as far as buying my own car goes? I won't need to do that for another few years still :D

Mine was a beige Datsun 180B - I loved that car!! Didn't even have it that long before a drunken asshole driving a Kingswood station-wagon ran through a give-way sign & wrote it off - of course, being drunk, his insurance was null & void so I had to pursue him through the courts for the cash. :angry:

Mine was a Black Daewoo Lanos! I was very impressed! first car was brand new right off the line!

My first car was a White 87 Toyota Celica ST162. Awesome car only just stopped driving it recently cause i crashed it... hehe i crashed it GOOOOOD!

smp, after the festiva i moved to a suzi sierra soft top, but a nice red :)

was an awesome car :) i loved driving with no top on, i still remember the day doing 120km/h thru the hills and a damn bird clipping the top of the windscreen and then rolling over and hitting my head. lol.

and as for my drunk mates in the back with no top.... poor other cars got mooned :lol:

still got the car, but after it made friends with a stoby pole and rolled over, i didn't put it back on the road. use it just on the proeprty and it now has the top totally cut off :D

i had a sigma SE... how i loved her... elec windows, power steering, a/c, it was deluxe! :lol:

when it was good or when it was bad?
bad yes... good not really :/

My first was a TE Cortina with a worked 2L... Its the only car i ever regret selling...

I loved that car dearly... had her for about 5 years!! still was running strong... even managed to drive me to glenelg from grote street after the accident!!!

now shes worth like $500.. its ok tho cause i got a newer celica, 95 model st184 yeay!!!
still that wasnt the last way i thought I would see that car go

despite me saying id never drive a manual, my first car was one.... it was a 79 mazda capella and i still have it... and i have one person after the car and someone else after the number plates...lol...love that car so much even tho atm its a flower pot holder...lmao... and my second car is the one i have now.....

My first car was an HZ Premier then a VR commonoYA!! FOR THE DJ , ohk my first car had a well over a thousdand dollars worth of sterio, a 15inch sony sub, still have, a 10 inch prosound sub which was baaaaad and i sold him and 2 boss 1000watt amps which pwn PWN!!!! and then dodge speakers and a dodge head unit, can't believe no1 robbed me LMAO!!!!

well mine was also a Ford Cortina TE 1979, 2lt man 4 speed sedan, i brough it from the owner who had it from newi brought it way back in 1996, with 80,000 for $1000 stock as a rock, still had the orginal AM only radio in it.

by the time i traded it, it had 200,000 on the clock, dumped, exhaust, stereo, worked, mags, i wish i pic of it, i have only got 2 pics of it when i first got the car

man i miss that car

then i got a Ford EB falcon XR6, AND Did the same with that with all the mods

and then the lancer, the good old joker car

my first car was a 1973 RT81 Corona, brown, then later changed to white. first corona to have front disc brakes as standard. had the 12R engine, what a beast.. had a few since..

My first car...well...if you include the HQ Kingswood that my dad gave to me and my bro, that I only ever drove once, then that'd be it. I'll never forget the night me and my bro picked it up, it was rainy as hell...

Jason: "Oh shit, same on this side"

25minutes later on a backstreet...

Jason: "HOLLYWOOD!!! Did you see that, I did a full 180 and then made the car take off without stopping"

Otherwise my 'first car' is the beast that flies around Adelaide that is a red 92 Barina/Swift

My first car i think was a 1978 Mazda Capella or was it a 180bSSS?? I cant remember ive had about 20 cars........ Plus it was nearly 12yrs ago and ive drank alot of beer since then. But im sure it was the Mazda

My first car was a flame red 1970 ford capri... complete with flared (bogged up) guards, custom tail-lights and full GTV6 running gear... all with a 1300 motor!! I owned it for 7 years, went thru 3 engines and 2 gearboxes in it
I gave that poor car hell for the entire time I owned it... FUCK IT WAS FUN!!

first and reverse shared the same ratio.. so you could do 80 km/h in 1st AND reverse....

i once 180'd my sierra on north tce in the wet after a big night out, a full car, and wet... kept it going aswell.. was class... everyone thought i did it on purpose aswell.

this is my first car, a 1974 mini clubman with an 1100cc motor and i put in a good stereo, strobe lights, disco balls and a cobra racing seat.... i loved that car...

a blue toyota t18, that was alright when i got it, and a complete shitbox when i took it to sims metal.......GO THE RAGING BULL (R.I.P)!!!

I miss that car so much im about the only person who would do up a 1.6 engine and have it actually have power specifically from the 4G32B... any mitsi people know.. it was a heavy economy based engine!!!

my SX-R has the sports seats from the ZR, leather steering wheel / gear knob and hand break, and cruise control.. but i have no idea how to use it!

It's a nice car... i've always loved the celica (except the new ones... they look good, but no matter what you do with it there is no way to change the shape.. it will always look like the Celica) ... do you get what i mean??

I had for my first car a 77 celica which was fun till i blew up the motor. It then got the paulie special veacles treatment. Put it on straight gas (no petrol), put a 2.0L import twincam in there, fitted a supercharger, all the suspention was upgraded, limited slip diff, levan rear disk breaks, RA60 vented fronts, whiteline swaybars, I recon it was one of my all time favorite cars i miss her. from a standing start at the bottom of willinga hill she would hit 180kph plus near the top which was good for a 18 year old aprentice mechanic hehe.

my first car was a LH Torana (4cyl), then I had a VL commodore, then a VS commy, then a VK commy, then a VP commy and now I have a VT (V8 Manta) Commy..... nearly had the full range...
(hehe)

best car was my VL but wouldn't trade my VT in for anything now..... gotta love the V8 power

curently its the RX-7 the Magna and the scooter, and i have another vehicle on its way.. planned and lined up..

blue 1987 1.5 litre dual carbie honda civic hatch....

i loved it to bits., had the jap spec series 1 crx engine in her and loved sittting about the 6and a half grand on the tacho.

it got written off in 2004 when a camry station wagon towing a trailer full of bricks and a lawnmower crashed into the back of me at about 70km/hr while i was stopped at a red light...

insurance money went towards a computer and the rest went towards tequila!!!


still searching for an AW11 MR2 that takes my fancy, that's what i've wanted since yr 9.

Ahhh the safety. I had a sigma for a while as well. I got to say that they are nearly indestructable!!
