Since there seems to be a lot of debate on it, i'm starting a thread to get peoples opinions on the people who like to dress in no clothing when they go out.

Guys - is it good?

I like it (naturally) however most of the girls that wear that sort of stuff are a little bit up themselves. But then again if it boosts your self esteem by wearing it, why not?

You know, i could never dress like a little tramp, but, i think it's more the attitude that goes with the clothing...

Then again, in the toilets on the opening of st pauls, 3 girls, wearing mostly leopard print, (ewwww) pushed me out of the way, and then 2 mins later said 'wow, we look like hookers!' 'hahahaha'

i'm all for it ... but i think the point of this thread was teensy outfits on chickies, not nekkidness. i am a big fan of the female form and I love it (one in particular ), clothes can highlight the wonders that lay beneath, or can hide them away (at least for a little while). it's all shades of grey ...

I've seen chix stripping that don't look hot, and then I have seen a special young lady in two layers of pyjamas and a bathrobe who still looks hot. clothes dont make the man (or woman), but personality and confidence do

Im not into the skimpy clothes in winter. I mean today i have been outside and it's spitting with rain and seen a girl wearing a short skirt with ugg boots and she looked freezing. Id rather be comfy and warm all day long, However in summer how can you not wear a short skirt, i mean who wears jeans to the beach??

less is not neccesarily more. more can be more. i tend to agree with toby. fully depends on the girl too. a pair of sloppy pj's does it for me, but a boob tube and some short shorts is hot also

I say comfort is a big factor - but I don't honestly believe that the majority of the girls guilty of this style of clothing are wearing it for comfort.

It also depends on the person, some people can just make an outfit work with what they've got, no matter what - some sure as hell can't.

Most the tramps that are seen at St Paul's or Venus on Thursdays fit into the latter category.

If you have a body you can show off then by all means, go for it! You're either very lucky, or you work hard to look good... You deserve to dress how you please.

I used to dress in next to nothing to go out- purely for the attention- most guys would stand back and stare but be too scared to come and talk- therefore just sending free drinks to me that was back in the days before i got lazy & actually had a body i was proud to show off.
These days im alot more confident so i dont feel the need to hold such importance on the way i look. Cleavage and a cute smile will still get you to the front of the bar line though
I guess it helps to have an amazing fiance with you who still thinks you look hot in his oversized trackies & jumper.
You can give some girls the hottest clothes in the world & theyll still be ugly but dress some girls in a garbage bag & theyll look hot! Go out in what your comfortable in- if youve got it show it, if not or if it makes you incomfortable dont. No use looking hot if your too scared to move due to a wardrobe malfunction

i have found that the ppl that are interested in me see me in my daggies b4 they see me all dressed, now i dont know if its cause i have a cool personality, i look better in my daggies or some men are blind...lol...somethings are nice to look at but would u really want to take it home to meet mum?? do u want a trophy gf? i find that mostly shaoolow men and women end up together cause they dont want to make their car look bad by having someone with cloths on in it...

It's all about self confidence. An attractive girl shouldn't feel the need to wear next to nothing to show off her assets... or any girl for that matter. If you dress revealingly then you ought to expect a certain kind of attention for dressing that way and if you don't want that attention, don't do it! There is no need to walk around half naked in winter unless you are doing it purely to seek attention, in which case you reap what you sew. I personally do not like girls who wear revealing clothes and then spend all their time bitching about being judged for their clothing and behaviour... what do you expect? If you are going to be wearing almost nothing in an inappropriate setting then don't expect to be treated any better than next to nothing.
You can dress nicely and with class and look super hot. Class is the thing that does it. If you don't have the class or the physical assets to pull off a decent outfit what in gods name makes you think you have the class and assets to pull of a barely there outfit. Less is not more, unless you are saying less is more sluty in which case I agree.
Reality is that there are very few girls that have the body to pull off wearing barely anything and for those that do.. self respect and not being a fashion victim are two things you should always consider when stepping out. Half the outfits I see on girls these days make me want to run over and throw a jacket over them... especially in cold weather like we're having at the moment.. and I think I'm pretty decent looking for my age and could probably pull off allot of the outfits these girls chose to wear... would I want to? Hell no... comfort, self confidence and class win in my books!

mich ive seen u in swim wear babe, u are so damn hot...... i have got a quite a few friends that are so damn hot it hurts and they all dress and hold themselves with dignity. they know what they have and they also know that being a right bitch is not on... they dress to look good but the operative word there is DRESS they do put cloths on...

combination cloths are good, like a short skirt with a long sleeve top or jeans with a smaller top, its not all or nothing....

I don't mind what people wear generally, if some girls or guy's for that matter feel comfotable in wearing next to nothing i say go for it. It just adds to the crazy mix of humanity, if we all wore the same things it would be soooooooo boring. As for looking hot half naked or whatever i have seen some pretty fine looking women in professional suits as well. As long as the outfit suits the occasion, like raves fluffy pants = cool, doing the shopping at marion = not cool could be a phycopath either that or someone stole cookie monsters pants .

I do like to make an effort with how I dress from time to time but I am the least likely person to wear something just to show off my body.. i just don't think it is necessary. The type of attention I appreciate is not going to occur as a result of how i dress or what i look like, it will happen because i am a nice, warm and friendly person who's company people enjoy... so the need to dress to impress is simply not there, i'd rather impress by who I am not what I look like.

I think girlfriends should take some responsibility for letting their friends out of the house looking like a 5 cent hooker... if you care about your friend you'd at least tell her to step it up and go for the 50 cent hooker look.

I'm sure at the end of the day shallow chicks with nothing more to offer than a set of boobs will wear next to nothing and wonder why they only ever seem to meet sleazy guys... Any DnB events that are on, a casual night out or dinner/drinks at the pub and I'll wear something like, Jeans, nice top & nice thongs or sometimes my Nikes.

Anthems style night, enchanteds, ultraworlds or any kinda dancey/rave styles & you'll find me in jeans, singlet & my nikes!

Girls night out, a birthday, somewhere "posh" or a celebration and I'll wear Jeans, hot top, high heels or boots.


I cant stand chicks who dress slutty, it looks terrible IMO.

I was coming from the point that I've been subject to nasty remarks about being a snob or stuck up or whatever because of the way I look, this is something that irritates the hell out of me as if people just took a second to speak to me they would find that I am not at all snobby, i have a brain and a personality too, I am a kind person, i care deeply for my loved ones and friends and show it, even if its just by being there for them to talk to when they need it. Since hitting my teenage years I've had girls resent me, say nasty things to me, label me stuck up.. all because I look as I do, I didn't choose to look the way I do, I'm glad I do, but it's not all I am and it offends me to see girls who dress inappropriatley, wear barely anything and still expect not to be labelled or commented about... if girls like me who don't do that are getting labelled regardless why should they be immune when they are doing more to ask for it? having said that I would never hesitate to get to know someone, regardless of how they are dressed. However, i do reserve the right to be honest and call a skank a skank if i meet one!

now less about me and how hot i am (vomits) and more about girls who take it too far!!

some hints to those who do, and just anyone interested:

1. look in the mirror before you leave the house. I mean really look, if you have to wonder if you look fat/slutty/like a hooker then you probably do. Change
2. ask a friend you trust for an honest opinion when you are unsure of an outfit choice. Do not then proceed to hate them for being honest if you don't like what they say or wear the outfit to spite them.
3. dress for your body type and importantly age, not all girls (in fact very few) can or should be wearing hankies for a top and a belt for a skirt.
4. Cleavage is your friend but use it wisely... there is a fine line between cleavage and showing your tits for all and sundry... if you are even worried that your nipples might show or your boobs might fall out.. wear another top!
5. don't be a fashion victim. Not every style that comes out is going to suit every girl. Know what works for you and stick with that. Very few people take note of exactly what you are wearing and the style of it, and those that do.. shallow, vain.. do you really care what they think anyway?
6. dress for you, weather that be ultra comfortable or glammed up, do it for you and make sure you are happy.. if you don't dress for you and aren't happy with your outfit chances are others wont like it either as you wont appear confident in your choice.
7. be confident in who you are and the choices you make. Confidence is sexy, slutty is well, slutty. Know the difference.
8. If in doubt, always err on the side of class... leopard print, under any circumstances, is not classy, nor are tiny leather hot pants.... unless you are phunkii and look ultra hot in them!
9. Don't think about it too much, most times the first thing you put on is the thing you end up wearing.. over thinking what to wear leads to wardrobe errors.
10. Don't be afraid to wear something different, if you like it and feel good in it then wear it. Just make sure your mirror agrees first.

Good question. it really depends. theres a good amount of less, and then theres just leaving nothing to the imagination. Too many variables to give an overall answer. Depends on the individual and how they behave and present themselves socially as well. You can wear some skimpy clothing and still show a bit of class, and then some peple just have no idea at all and might as well walk around naked with a sign on their back saying "free for all".

Personally though, I prefer a neat casual dressed girl. Not one that wears a belt and calls it a dress.

The only time i ever wear really short skimpy clothes is to raves... otherwise i tend to cover up.

Jeans and a turtleneck can be totally sexy if you're pulling it off right... and can attract much more attention then a short skirt and skimpy top (mind you it also depends what kind of attention your after!!)

tip from the fashion student...less is more and more is less. if that sounds confusing think of it this way: a girl dressed in next to nothing will attract attention visually cos she's exposing most of her body, but a girl that can use more cover to accentuate her body will inevitably attract more attention of a more refined kind...what you can't see, you imagine, and the imagination is a wonderful aphrodesiac
