Three massive rooms of old school tunes... Something for everyone from the last 15 years of dance music! Queens Birthday Long Weekend Sunday June 11 from 9pm.

DECADANCE ARENA: The main room will be Decadance with a decade of anthems in one room from 1993 to 2003, brought to you by the DJs who lived it! DJs Andy J, Brendon, Damage, Davin, Devious, DJ Ben, MPK and Mr S plus MC Jules.

DISCOVERY ARENA: Downstairs features the original DJs that made it what it was. Playing tunes made from 1991 to 1996, don’t miss this recreation of one of the most influential clubs in Adelaide’s raving history. DJs ATB, Maestro D, MPK and Noddy.

HARDCORE ARENA: This room will not be for the faint hearted, it will be Hardcore anthems! All the best tunes from all eras, to ensure your feet come home, bloody and blistered from a night of hard dancing. DJs Equinox, H-Bomb, Ism and Tactic.

Doors open 9pm at st.Pauls complex, cnr Flinders and Pulteney St, Adelaide. Tickets at the door!

On the letter I received with my decadance ticket, it said the party goes from 9pm to 5pm

Is this is a typo and should've been 5am or does it actually mean that decadance goes through to 5pm monday afternoon?

I'm sure the former is probably true, but yeah if i could get this confirmed that would be great.

Well what a fantastic night.

I had an absolute ball, prolly the best night I've had this year!
Typically anthems it filled up quickly.. Was a nice size croud.. enough to make a great atmoshpere but not to many to make it annoyinly packed!

The new St Pauls format worked great.. especially the chill out area behind the big stage.. it looked awesome with all the decor. and lots of comfy seats! the smaller dancefloor area made it pretty packed all night.. i dont think i really got to get on the dancefloor to dance.. but I did out the back and on the sides

Musical highlight of the night would be the 2 or 3 oldskool prodigy songs.. toped off with excalibur... some of my most favorite songs. FUCKING NICE ONE BRUVA!

For those who a concerned Robert (overdose) is fine.. we got him home ok. he slept all the way in the taxi, and slept like a rock at home. he might be a bit sore when he wakes tho.
Thanks to all that helped out, and those who came past to check how he was. and big ups to the security who did a great job!

For those who dont know, it appears someone decided to slip a something extra into his drink. He was drunk enough already.. didnt need that.

Great night topped off with great friends and company with awsome music.

I had an absolute ball but first two hours was shite due to some external forces. But my mood was better after a few drinks and a nice warm-up set. I wanna thank Queen of Whatever, Baby Raver and FallenAngelG for helping to cheer me up.

I havent been able to sleep yet so should do so soon. And it was nice to meet a few more of you guys and girls last night.

yeah that was an awsome night, and the 1st night me and shagsy have stayed til the place closed. the music was great and the people were great. sorry 2 the ppl we missed @ recovery, but we had 2 take ppl home, and at the end of that we were almost home any way so we came homw (with catsy) took her to work @ 8.30 this morning (you poor little thing, hope u made it through the day) then went to bed and just got up now. big thanks 2 ben (Nokturnl) 4 making mine and shags clothes 4 the night, they were a big hit. and thanks 2 everyone we spoke 2 last night, even the random dood that told me ppl born after 1980 were all pussys hehe :-) thanks everyone 4 a great night, cant wait 4 many more 2 come.

The decor was INSANE! Massive props to the decor team!

YAAAAAAY as per usual anthems last night provided me with lotsa fun, happiness, good vibes, dancin, laughing, smiling, chatting bout random things to random people and much much more!

The vibe of the place was great last night, the new set up in saint pauls is great, more couches, great decor..I rekon last night saint pauls was in the best shape ive ever seen it.

Bloody excellent night, what a way to celebrate an anniversary of what brought me into the world of raving, an insane night now i'm right in beliving that MPK made the set times? i tried to personally thanking him for such an excellently "hardcore" orriented night, i really do wish having my own transport, i would have loved to stay for all of DJ Ben's insane hardcore set however unfortunatly but i am glad that i was able to keep on my feet to DJ H-Bombs set for it's entirety, i've a massive amount of respect for all of our highly tallented DJs in Adelaide and know, no matter how many international superstars are shipped over from overseas, nothing makes me feel as comfortable and accepted as watching your local DJs your friends, rip it up on an industry standard pair of decks, soon the day will come when a Shure Microphone will be attached to the end of my hand with the adelaide rave scene behind me, and even when that day comes, i'll continue to raise my hands to our local DJs. Why idolize someone who couldn't give two s**ts about you. There's no substitute for the ecstacy
you feel when cranking for someone who cranks for you every week.
That goes for absolutly all of Adelaide's local DJs i'm yet to see a show performed by local's which did not bring the same skill and precision which an oversea's dance music producer does. International DJs also as much experience as they do have, and with experience comes confidence, watching your DJs playing, seeing that they're happy and feel confident enough to have fun with turntableism etc. makes me happy that they feel free to have fun and enjoy themselves knowing that we've upmost respect for them, and even when mistakes are made it's f**king good, if s**t goes wrong it doesn't ever stay that way.
Basically thank you so much for making this an amazingly memorable evening i loved it!

pitty i missed it... i heard the hardcore was brilliant (not that i had any doubts... Adelaide has great hardcore DJs)

i loved it - great tunes, fantastic bunch of people and the venue is looking hot thanks to some hard work by our decor crew. all the ingredients were there and i'm sorry we had to bail at such an early stage (2am and things were just getting wound up!!). to those that rocked - we salute you, and all those that made it in the doors - you rock bitches!

I was actually beginning to feel like I missed out on some of the fun by spending the majority (about 3-4 hours) outside socialising .. even though I had what I would consider the best night I've had for many months .. but after hearing numerous reports about inside not being that crash hot; I'm glad my night turned out the way it did. No regrets whatsoever

There were a few rude people- like the jerk who crashed into me, knocked me over then he yelled at me for getting in the way???? i was just standing there But i was having too much fun to let him ruin my night- i just giggled at his stupidity & went on my merry way
Was a great night- met alot of great people made some new friends- i even got a rose Even though people kept trying to steal it

This Rave will go down as one of my all time favorite raves. I was bouncing from room to room and loving every track i heard from decadence arena to hardcore and the descovery arena. there were a few wierdo's there but i just concentrated on the beats, the wicked crowd and our family of anthemites. Big cheers to MARCH E for cruzing along with me to our recovery and getting to know us in all our crazyness. Big mwahs to some of the new friends of anthems sorry i forget names so easily at these things but was great to meet ya. Hope to see you all again soon.

I did spend a nice portion inside (the first 2-3 hours), and I didn't catch any of the bad vibes either .. I imagine they started emerging as the night went on or something??

i didn't get bad vibes but i didn't get into it like I normally would.. it was a fine event and for the time we were there I had allot of fun but I noticed allot of people who wouldn't normally attend, allot of sleazy guys and some dodgy looking people wandering about. I thought it was just me at the time but have since found that quite a few feel the same way. If we'd have stayed longer it might have been different but I don't know, something was just slightly off to me... I blamed the long day at WLS at the time *shrugs* who knows!!! For the part we were there and in terms of all the people I did see, the decor, the music.. loved it.. just wish the sleaze content weren't so high on the night, I'm accepting of groping from fellow anthemites, male and female alike but random creepy guys... eeeeewwwwww!!!!

i was the witness of no bad vibes, i loved the night from go to whoah. i just let the music into me and it had my feet burning up the dancefloor. i noticed a few "prettyboys" here and there, and managed to dodge most of the stilettos waiting to stomp my feet, but im glad these people came and were able to appreciate music as it used to be.

they might not have understood the vibe of the event, but just being part of it would have been special to them.

so... when is ROUND 2 ???

I think you and I didn't enjoy it as much as the others coz we got spoilt with the 'We Love Sounds Festival' beforehand.....nothing would have compared with that, so yeah Decadence was a bit 'meh' after that
