I know that in reality these days the time of raves is pretty much dead, and most are more like a big club night.
Therefore I think if you have a superclub again it will make these events just another club night?
My 2 cents anyway, (dives back into bomb shelter)

I'm tending to agree with you a bit here HEFTY, and I honestly think the only way you'll see a truly decent rave anymore is to either go interstate to one of the massive raves over there, or perhaps Earthcore, or to find a truly underground scene that is staging raves out in the bush....raves in good old Adelaide (although a lot of fun) aren't really offering anything new or exciting anymore....this is probaby largely due to stricter regulations being enforced on venues used and the like....warehouse raves are a thing of the past it seems

....but this issue is totally separate from the 'superclub' concept and I hope this new venture will herald something wonderful to what is currently on offer, if only to give this generation of ravers/clubbers what we had....ah, back in the day
