Huge Charity Car Cruise

hey folks.. i know this forum has some tidy cars on here, and i knwo the caring nature of this forum.

so i decided to post this up.

its a huge massive charity car cruise held to raise funds for the youth suicide awareness charity.

something close to my heart and also im sure many of us have have experienced over the years.

PS, ALL cars are welcome not just rice mobiles... if ur on defect or have race use vehicles this shld be able to be used to gain a permit for driving on the roads. read the link and contact the apropiate people if required..

but i also want to support this cause.. due to the fact of losing a few mates to youth suicide.. and also being very close to it msyelf a few times... its kinda close to my heart..

I hear ya loud and clear on this issue....it is certainly a worthy, and much needed cause in the climate we have in Australia - and I aint taking about the weather either people...too many great young souls get lost to suicide in this 'lucky' country

but remember even if you don't end up on this cruise there is plenty of other ways you can help this cause Del.....

or go to the cruise meet point.. then come to lunch...

havnt been a huge cruise like this in a very long time...

you can always meet up with the cruise after lunch if u know people on there and have their number. thats what i use to do with the commy cruises when i couldn't make it to the start

nah after a lunch and a few beers no chance im risking the rx7 on a 200+ car cruise...


bound to be a few idiots and i dont like to drive the 7 with any booz in my system,

its a target for attention already.. ( tho with that amountof cars mine will be one of the least modified)

no need to add driving under the influence to it...

if anyone of you has a two way radio bring it along.. its very handy for cruising with others.. communication that is not illegall when driving

plan is too meet at mine about 11:30-45 and then head in as a group.

the car is going to have a heart attack, i dont thing its ever been cleaned, and its getting cleaned, and i bet ya it will rain

Big snuggly wuggly hugs to those going & to those who have been touched by this cause. I know those youve lost would be so very proud of you all for trying to raise awareness.
With that said- to all my girls & guys who now have their own wings (or pitchforks) ill never stop loving you & im a better person for having known you all & for that i can never thank you enough. I wish from the bottom of my heart i could say it to your faces but life didnt have that in store for us. The best I can do is show you by living my life the best i know how & for having enough friends & happiness for all of us. Take care of each other, my family & my animals until i get there coz i plan on hanging around here for quite some time yet

for many of us we have known others.. or been close to it ourselves. so this cruise for a cause, is special to me for that fact. a few of my mates have gone down that road.. and for me its a personal thing as i was very close to it myself.. before i moved from my home town my family and everything i knew and moved here to adelaide to start my life fresh and clean again.

to all out there with those we have lost.. this cruise is for you. it doesnt matter wat car.. or what club u are in, bring a datto.. bringa commo.. a falcon a Volksy... its an open cruise to raise funds for this cause that we all belive in.

This is such a wonderful cause and in knowning so many of us to be able to come together as a group, family and most of all FRIENDS we can all stick together thru this.

We all have loved ones that we miss dearly and a loss to something that should be prevented, but today you all go out there and show you care and make a name for this

Good luck everyone, safe driving and lets see you all back with a huge smile on your faces knowing you all went out and done something that means so much to us all

well id like to say it was a fantasic day and a great cause for a cruise.

people flowed into ETSA park quickly filling the car park up. sold out of maps easily. and that was 250 maps printed.

after rocking up and getting a nice park, bought a map had a look round and a convo here n there.. i realised my rego on the RX-7 ran out 2 days ago ( having 3 vehicles i kinda lose track what is due when) so raced home ( in a safe manner ofcoruse..) after 4 failed attempts to get the website to register my car i called transport sa rego line.. which also decided to crash today..

a final attempt saw me get a receit number.. but a " The system is currently unavailable, however your batch has been paid successfully. Your receipt number is ######" msg..

so off i went back to the cruise!

Total rasied today for the suicide awarness fund was $1170

the Mt Barker Scouts also raised alot of money thru their sausage sizzle where we finsihed the cruise at!

I definately think an anthems cruise would be awsome.. if we can get a nice group together!! The one today was massive, i came down looking for the anthemites expecting a few cars, 50 maybe.. instead i found about 400!!!
