About 7 or 8 years ago when i used to go to Heaven and there was still carpet on the floor - ewwww - there was a track that always got me amped up and slammed! Every so often i hear it on the radio and my desire to find it rekindles but to no avail. I have been searching for a copy of this song ever since i heard it. I heard it yesterday while i was out working on my car, i called up and was able to speak to the DJ who gave me the low down:

Code Blue - I've Been Waiting So Long
White label release out of England
never been on any compilation albums cos it's white label

the chorus has a girl singing - sounds semi distant with plenty of reverb - "i've been waiting so looooong, i've been waiting sooooo long, IIIIiiiiiiIIiiiiiiiiii, pu pu pu pump it up, pu pu pu pu pump it up" then the sub synth comes in and it just fugging PWNS!!!!!

Please help me!! i'll PAY for a copy of it, please, i've been waiting so long!

p'bert deluxe

p.s. if anyones going to taunt me with this track be warned that you may not wake up one morning if you do...

p.p.s. i've got over 10000 MP3's if you want to do a trade - go HERE for proof...

cheers lads you've just put the biggest smile on my dial. i just did some more google research on the album title and turned up the original label, Blue records - Netherlands. the original producer was Tod Terry, a name from a few back that produced some absolute gems. i fired off an email to blue records, see what i get back.... having the oriiginal vinyl would be most dope

.

Rob, email it to me, i set my email server up so it'll let through 50mb emails.....

TCB, i remember the 'original' - think it was a hack to start with - had a different beat after the chorus....

something funny turned up while i was goolging, there was a thread that had this in it on and international anthems.com
link to anthems.com thread with code blue in it....

and it's not even christmas, damn well feels like it though!!

timeless, that's why it should never be touched. please don't remix this track, there are so many memories attached to the original sound and vibe that any messing with it would kill those timeless thoughts... out of all the movie sequals you've ever seen what was the last good one???? i wouldn't mind if someone mixes this song into another as a part of a DJ set but please leave the core vibe there, if it aint broke, don't fix it...

sweet!!

notskir6 Jul 2006, 8:03pm

You all shouldnt go givin tracks like this away randomly....
Sure 'Sharing's Caring' to close mates.. But making it so easily availabe.. aint fair

Then DJs wont outdo other DJs with trackselection...
As every Mother has CodeBlue... Thrased it at home, and when played out dont find it as appealing

Ive seen this gem sell from $20 up to $300 !!

My 2c, no harm
