as for the location, theres plenty of landmarks in the area.
seeing we have people from all ages how about a near by carpark or simular? one thats closed to traffic, like the supercheap one... GSR/EVO club usually sets up there, ill see if they will this year.. if thats the case we can all just look for a bunch of mitsubishis

its sounding better and better.... i wont be going to 4 strings unfortunatly.... but thats ok cause ill be taking jamie and she loves rogue traders... so as far asim concered seeing her happy is better....

where are u thinking to meet up paul??? coke sounds good, but there are ppl coming in from the other side so maybe one of the towers. they usually have number dont they????

or maybe near the stage.... any chance of us getting a smiley on a pole so ppl can see where the anthems area is??

its easy to get lost there, so a place away from the masses to all meet up would be adviseable. also gotta try and avoid people losing children, im sure afew will take them.

so coke, mt thebarton... either or. I met my friends at mt thebarton 2 years ago, and last year in the supercheap auto carpark.
both were not hard for us to collect as a group.

we were going to try near the stage, etc. but it was just too damn crowded.

tower 3 or one of the other towers down the front area. are numbered for a reason. to be used as reference points for lost children and party groups to find mates...

so much easier than a car park etc

i agree with paul with the whole waiting for ppl outside thing, some ppl dont rock up til real late.... and if we decide on where we want to sit then go from there it will also be easier if we go for a walk then when its time to come back just look for those same landmarks.....

i still think a smiley on a pole......

count me in for sure.... fireworks... Rogue Traders... 4 strings @ Earth... that's a winning combination!!

How about we cordon off an area with orange road-works barriers, maybe a few flashing lights too... maybe get daana to stand guard in his reflective vest... shouldn't be too hard to spot!! ummm, maybe we should avoid putting Anthem's logo's up though, just in case

I agree with paul though, it makes more sense to meet where we're going to sit/stay, that way people can come and go and no-one will have to worry about losing there spot!! I'm not sure where they usually put the stage, but obviously it would be better if we could all get a vantage point... maybe JUST in front of one of the nearby towers, we could spread a heap of blankets out and hopefully keep a decent sized area to ourselves!!

for anthems team I can suggest meeting at my house first (which is about a 20 minute walk from the sky show site)....saves trying to find a park near Bonython which is damn near impossible once it gets underway....

i'm thinking close to the stage that way we can all boogy to the Rouge Traders and big enuff for all of us to fit on a bunch of rugs

so what we need is numbers.... so if u are up for it post. That way we can cordin of an area for all us to sit in with the anthems banner at the front so we all know where we are. Maybe put a smile face on a flag pole also

But we need numbers and volunteers to get there a little earlier

at this stage i am thinking near pole 5

No worries Craig.

Its Mettina's Dato 1600 rally car which she drives. The event is only a come and try day at Lanic Park, so its not a competition, but we want to get some practice in the car before she competes in the State Rally Championship, and Clubman Series later this year.

It will be the cars first outing as its totally a new rally car as the old one got written off.

Will definatlely post some pics in nuts and bolts once she gets out in the car..

living so close to Bonython Park I have never had to worry about parking so I have no idea what its like to try and find a park..... but if you think parking will be a hassle let me know....working for Clipsal (which is about a two minute walk away from the park) they have made the company car parks available to employees if we show our sexy security passes....obviously I can only offer my spot to one carload so if you want me to flash my pass for you PM me, and you'll have secure parking for the night....

Nyssa, even though I left early those were my thoughts exactly....my night took a nose dive as soon as I left you guys

Hehehe- had a FANTASTIC time, despite bussing & getting lost, hundreds of people & having trouble finding everyone.
was made better by the fast some bozo was taken away in a paddy wagon & all you could hear from the back was- knock knock- 'let me out of heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere' as it went past
