This thread is inspired by Wizzy's comment in another thread
Where the weirdest place you have picked up??Or have you ever made a BAD decision whilst feeling perhaps not in your best frame of mind and regretted it in the morning??
Time to air the dirty laundry

Ok, i was tormented by 32 hours of unpaid trial to get my current job, so on day one when walking through the kitchen i spied myself a form of payment. In the form of their cook
and since it technically started before i was working there my boss couldnt have a go at me about seeing someone from work
So this said cook is now my fiance and is no longer working here due to the boss being a creep

hmmm, dunno about wierd, but definately strange. Me and two mates got put into, how can I put it,,,,,police protection whilst in Townsville on an excersize back in 96 for of all things 'loitering' after one of the guys got (very physically) removed from a club, and we refused to leave until the cops where there to press charges against the bouncer. Anyway cops rock up, put us in the paddy wagon and of to lock up we go.
Whilst getting details I started chatting to one of the girls. At our release 4 hours later she gave me her number and we met up So I guess she picked me up:lol:

Getting phone numbers now thats a whole other can of worms.......
1. a groom at one of the weddings here waltzed up and said 'hey, whatcha up to after this??' and gave me his number!! wtf??
2. a chick in the toilet gave me her number
3. the random guy that mistakenly sent me nude photos of himself told me to keep his number on file in case i got bored of scott 'now that i know what he has to offer'
4. My shrink- he though i seemed like a 'fun' chick to be around again, wtf??

Just remembered one not that long ago rofl just thinking about it, She was the dental nurse that was treating me for a filling that had fallen out the day before. After the dentist left, I asked if she would like to go out for a drink some time, and gave her my number. (looking back I must have looked pathetic, Drooling everywhere) when we actually met up the first thing that came out of my mouth was "I knew I had sexy teeth". Hey it got a laugh and broke the tension

Not too long ago, I met this crazy internet stalker chick on msn...

I was picked up by a salesman while test-driving a car.... mind you i was being flirty waiting for him to take the bait.

at work i gave a guy pharmacy advise - we dated for 3 months, but i always ahd the creepy men asking me for my number there, thats Arndale shopping centre for you! you know they are crazy when they tell you that you look great in the white Clinique! that thing was horrid! unless you are into the "nurse" thing!

a guy tried to pick me up in a shopping centre. i was walking from one shop to the next and he just came up and asked if he could have my number! talk about alot of guts! but i had to turn him down oh well, better luck next time.

i once asked a complete random chick over the phone if she wanted "some of my cheeeeeeeeeeeese cake?", after a dare from a friend to call her up and ask said question.........................it worked, i went out with her for 12 months

you poor thing arndale is full of ferals!! i like to get in and out of that place as quick as possible!!!

actually... i was also picked up at TTP Cinemas.. like actually in the cinema. the movie was about to start and some teenager came up and asked if he could sit next to me (in an empty theater then asked if he could have my number then after the movie asked if he could buy me lunch!)

I was like 20 and he definately didn't look a day over 15!

Ah the wierdest place i picked up was definetly old school anthems not because of the place just because it was the last thing on my mind (and the fact that i have no game lol)... i just bumped into the poor girl i said sorry and we just started talkin

ok... one of the strangest places was a tattoo studio... yes he was my tattooist (dont think i spelt that right) i saw him a few times after he did my tat... but it didnt work out...

ah.. that's always a good way to go.. raves are actually pretty easy places to pick ppl up!

the one that stands out to me is when i picked up a mate and we went to meet his friends.. they all had left by the time we got there, except 2 chicks... now one was not my type and ended up buggin out and pissed off, anyway... the other was alright, to cut a long story short. She crashed her car into mine (me doing about 20km and hard braking, her doing 60km and accelerating, wrote my car off!!) on our way down to the beach...

Worst girlfriend i have ever had... was with her a month.. was as long as i could stand her clingyness and issues... (we all have issues... but dayum!!)

Big mistake, but you know... you just dont know what you are getting yourself into.

I have never met and gone with someone off the internet/irc/msn either. friends have had nothing but bad luck with that path

nah! i dont think ppl should pick up at raves.....i mean sure it might be easy....but i sware....i hate those ppl who stand infront of the DJ kissing! they sh*it me right off.
i go to raves for the music and for the atmostphere......not to get hit on by some random guy and then followed around all night....and then id get all sketched out

I've picked up @ craig's house heh .. the rest of the places are pretty normal.. party party party .. club club club .. actually.. i've picked up @ work be4 .. some random dude who's hair i was cutting asked me for my number.. heh.. oh n some guy i was piercing asked me for my number.. n then went out to tell me how he thort i was hot cuz i put him thru pain.. hmm.. hardcore bondage woo!

Best & weirdest 'fun pick up' was actually in Sydney...was collecting my nonni (grandparents) from their wog church service & whilst i was waiting i met a nice church girl & yeah...umm...errr... ill just leave it there i think
