Well, we all have things we may not need and want to sell. Why not post it here first and help out someone who may be looking for a similar thing and be able to get it for a bargain price..

there are some rules to the postings tho

*NO commercial sales - unless prior approval from PaulHamon is obtained
*You need to include as many contact details as possible if you don't visit the forum regularly
*Provide as much information as possible, for example, what the item is, brand/model, age, how much you want, etc

Please try to keep this on topic, once the item has been sold, can the seller please update their post to notify this or contact one of the mods who can do it for you.

Okay, I have some things to sell

I have an LG StudioWorks 775N 17 inch CRT monitor for sale - I can't remember how old it is, but I have had it since new. Works perfectly last time I used it and is clean and undamaged. It is non-flat screen but has great picture - $50 ono - SOLD

I also have a Samsung SyncMaster 955DF - 19 inch flatscreen CRT monitor. Its about 2 yrs old I think in near new condition. i did! on my PC it came back with signal error " out of frequency" so i stuck it on the other PC and it worked fine.. different vid cards and monitors on them each.

just a differnence in vid card settings.. this PC has a 256 vid card and my 19" flat screen. the othe rPC is a 128mb vid card and usually using an old 15 CRT so frequency settings would be diff.. that and i didint reboot it with new monitor i just unplugged n plugged in..

well thast my theory anyways

About 50 plastic chairs... $2 each if someone wants some.. cost me $5each a year ago! Do have anthems stickets on them thou!

Seriously go and check it out... with IKEA here in adelaide now, there seriously is no reason for people to look at second hand furniture, as they have some stuff that is soooooo cheap!!

Got a heap of computers in front of me now, and more to come from one of my clients excess stock dumps! I have two types, higher and lower spec systems...

$150 Low end: Compaq Pentium3 1GHz micro towers. 256MB RAM, 20GB hard drive, CDROM, 6 USB ports, network, complete with black 17" CRT (old style) monitor, keyboard and mouse. NOTE: These are a tiny little computer and are hard to upgrade as they have things like laptop CDROM drives in them. Comes with Windows 2000 licence, but can be converted to Windows XP. See photo.....

$380 to $430 higher spec: These range in spec and style (small desktop and mid sized towers) , but are usually 2.0Ghz to 2.6GHz Celeron or Pentium4 machines. All name brand HP, Dell and Compaq, with at least 256MB RAM, 40GB hard drives, and should have brand new LG DVD burners... if not, they're $40 cheaper. Also included an old style CRT black/silver 17" monitor, keyboard and mouse. All come with genuine WIndows XP licences.... no dodgies here

I can organise LCD flat screen monitors too if required, new or second hand.

PM me if you're interested. The cheap $150 systems are literally FLYING out the door, so once the last couple have gone, I can put you down on a waiting list for the next batch (hopefully arriving next week).

17" LCD monitors are stupidly expensive at general second hand sales and auction (ie only $30 less than my new wholesale price). The 15" ones are better priced, but not by much. Given the 3 year warranty that most come with, I'd suggest buying new. I can get them for you, but Oldskoolie is probably you're best place to stop first

17" LCDs start well below $300 these days!

Update: 2 out of the three high end systems made available to me today have gone already, and there is one lower spec system left. A couple were taken without monitors, so I have a few extra black 17" CRT monitors for $25 each. More computers will be coming in next week, but they look like going REALLY fast, so it might be an idea to reserve one if you're interested. Oldskoolie has a good point about the Windows XP that comes with these.... it's a genuine copy and would cost you $200 or more on it's own!

yup, december last year

. ive been workin on it, and working 10-12 hrs a day in my normal job, so there hasnt been much spare time for anything... the store is ready, but im re thinking my business plan now, so it may not ever see the light of day.

Id prefer to focus on systems, laptops, consumer electronics and digital entertainment equipment, rather than single sales of pc hardware and components.. So i'll be showcasing some prebuilt systems of all levels, as well as building to your budget, and requirements..
