New Gtr?

It doesn't look too bad, but it feels more futuristic concept car than 'in your face' (even slightly ugly, but tough) GTR of old. So I guess in summary, as a car it looks great, but as a GTR it's pile of dog shit. No doubt performace will be brutal if the 206kw limits are ignored and as has been suggested though

I reckon it looks mad.. the front looks tuff..

I just need to get over the fact that the GTR as we know it is dead. I'll learn to like the new one

yeah, its pretty weird.. will be weird also if they bring back the 200sx/silvia and also the supra.. the RX7 should be coming soon, but seems like its taking ages..

aHHHk alex, i saw that site... and was keen to see a new GTR but that just looks like a 350z gtr mishmash... definitly see where those lines are from... hmmm 3.5litre twin turbo v6.... could be dam nasty!

It looks like a great car, it will go great with a twin turb 3.5L V6 (and maybe 250+kw), and it will be well engineered as expected.....but it will have no soul. It certainly won't sound like the howling, menacing RB26DETT (will most likely sound like a turb 300ZX or turbo Falcon...god help us!). Even the looks are not the unique GTR we have come to love. Like a hot, ditzy blonde... great as a trophy, but do you want it as your soulmate?

Dav's just afraid of change. I'd say it's one of the things that grows on ya. Although, I have to admit, it doesn't have the "I'm driving a fast car" attitude, it's more of a "I'm driving a fancy car" attitude.

i agree with dav... nissan have lost a certain soul to their cars.. everythinsg starting to look like the same thing...

concept cars are all basically aprgression of the latest they have online.. eg the new GTR looking like a 350Z...

Hmm i dont like it much myself... I'm one of those girls that goes on how sexy the car looks.. not whats under the hood, but i definatley wouldn't jump on the guy that owned that!
