Everyone i know has songs or music attahced to memories and events in their life.

What songs remind u of what life was like or still is?

I kno that I will never forget the first time I heard Nothing Else Matters, or Tarantula, Judith, or even 46 & 2?

What are everyone elses memories?

ghetto super star came on fresh yesterday and it reminded me of a weekend where there was copious stupid amounts of drinkn.....and we were driving to or from a mansion we had been partying at ....and the song came on and we were singing it at the top of our voices laugh.gif

Heh there is no way I can name all the songs.

Almost every song I listen to reminds me of a time in my life.. and events/people are associated heavily with each time it reminds me of.

Music is one of those things which can manage to uplift me, while making me feel almost teary-eyed nostalgia.

too many songs remind me of working at st pauls.....how sad!

DeLr
listening to some of my older stuff now... nearly brings me to tears the memories attached to them..

alt of joy and happiness.. alot of layingback hodling the hand of some one i loved.. and just relaxing and being one together.. now.. it hurts a bit to look back at the apin that was soon to be brought to that time of my life.

children.. nightmare some of the old classics.. in the dance scene stand out to me.. but reallynohtings tands out...

some of Tiesto's stuff really grabs me.. wacthed a concert on the weekend. and so much of what he does really has an effect on me.

So many songs connected to so many memories. Hmm.

Songs from Night at the Roxbury I strongly asoociate with back in russia when I was ages 4 - 7 or so. remember my parents listening to them. This is the stuff that got me on to dance/trance/techno etc. I love those old tracks smile.gif.

Pendulum - Spiral and Parameter are memories of Enchanted 2005.

umm, theres heaps of music that brings back memories. I'll think about it more.

This still applies today .. except there is one song that has been giving me goosebumps and reminding me of Winter Enchanted a whole lot.

Armin van Buuren - Control Freak (Sander van Doorn remix)

So, so good.

These past few years I've been trying to find a live recording of Grooverider playing the old skool jungle sounds. I think I was 14 and I heard it on Coast FM and I taped it but as time moved on...so did technology. I lost all my tapes of mixes that I taped from Coast and all the old mixes of what we now deem "old school". So many memories flooding my head with my love for happy hardcore, gabba, the Underground Resistance label (respect) and my love for Naughty By Nature (remember 19Naughty3 anyone??) and all the other old school hiphop jams. Cranking sounds through my headphones on my casette walkman (coz owning a CD walkman meant I had to roll another "rich kid") when I was a bratty school kid and not having much care for the world. These were the days.
