whos got what, and whats good these days

Just got the new HPYER magazine today

had a preview on both xbox 360 and ps3.

in my opinion ps3 is going to dominate. bill gates should stick to what he knows best, and thats PC's. dont try taking on the japs at consoles!!!!!!!!

anyway im a bit of a nintendo lover from way back, when it came time to buy a console i chose to get Gamecube purely becoz i needed to have Mario Kart.

that has gotta be one of the most fun games of all time, try getting a group of 4 on a tournament whilst paro. its gold.

ill admit most of the other games are shit and kiddie, but then again what were gaming consoles marketed for? kids. then Sony come along and make games for adults!!

stayed true with my loyalty and bought a nintendo ds aswell. however this new PSP also looks like its going to dominate as well sad.gif

MS has bought out a driving game (cant think of what it was called) butits for release with the XBOX 360.

One of the features is that the steering wheel has a built in breath analysis system and if you blow over 0.08 the game will not operate. It then cuts to a scene of a man being loaded into a police car.

the 360 and ps3 definately look like they will be a step head of time.

cant wait till there out. Im pretty sure Nintendo are going to come out with a big gun to challenge for the top console after falling well clear in 3rd quite a few years ago.

it was the n64 that killed them! the 32bit ps1 owned it and it only had half the processing power.

Bill had it all over the japs from 2000 until now, so it wasn't a total waste of time smile.gif

are you talking about since the release of the xbox?

the xbox has nothing over the ps2.

just did a bit of quick research and the xbox has sold 9.4 million consoles worldwide compared to ps2's 87.4 million consoles.

Beta was far superior to VHS, but look which one sold the most.

It doesn't matter which area you look at, the xbox has better performance and FAR greater flexibility. I'll evaluate that again when the PS3 and 360 come out though smile.gif

it comes down to games really at the end of the day, what people want to play..

Beta is still used today.

never took off in the general population, but its widely used for broadcast purposes. there is now digital beta tapes smile.gif

going to japan in october and will go to the sony building to see whats on offer.
was going to get me an ipod but had a play with a psp today and that is newest toy on priority list! was awesome!

Cant wait for the PS3 to come out ....might have to wait until the silver ones come out tho, as my PS2 is silver so therefore the PS3 has to be silver to match it. tongue.gif

i got a couple of PCs...
and an xbox with 120gig drive and chipped
40+ games on it

hardly play it

PS1 slim line and about 20 games... but generally game on PC
