can't remember the exact date, but the setup was used for a few parties that fringe.....i know anj has the poster, or at least a better memory than me. i do remember watching a rather wellbuilt young lass have eyes painted onto her nipples............there was about 10-15 of us watching this.
it was definitely 96, and it was in the east end markets. the entry was in a side street, and was directly behind old urban streetwear. the night that hawtin played, it started raining, so they shut it down, and everyone piled into synagogue, where hawtin played an absolute stomper set, with veeeeery minimal lighting and a shitload of smoke. without a doubt one of the best nights i have ever had..........including the session in hungry jacks carpark where a bag of ganja was consumed by 2 people smoking out of a bong made from an energizer torch in under half an hour!!

paul, the reason you prob don't remember this is cause they wouldn't give us any comps [not even 1], and as we all had cash coming out our ears [not!], so none of us went.. even though it basically happened next to us..

they had a funny attitude towards us IIRC..
