Well as Internode DSL customers would have noticed, there DSL connection would have been down for a fairly long time (16hours).
It started about 7:30 last night, continuing to just before midday today(Tuesday).
Internodes Advisories stated that it was due to a "technical fault", But my friend that works in the Internodes help desk told me it was a bug in Cisco
this is a rarity for Internode, for the year I have been with them this is the biggest issue I've had. and have always have great service.
Today they reached a new record for the amount of phone calls to the help desk in 1 day(more than 2300calls) so i would imagine it would have been a rather bad Monday for Internode staff. If there is any of you that come on here... a big thumbs up to you!
Anyway, as said above all systems are working again and you DSL should work fine!
If you want more info on on the downtime, [CLICK HERE] to go to Internodes Outages Advisory.
If You tinkered with your modems/computer thinking it was a problem your end (like I did) [CLICK HERE] to go to the General Internode Configuration page. Here u will find all the info u need to re-setup your modem/pc.
Now I must go and catch up on 16 hours of forums/downloads/webpages etc
Hope this has been helpful to some!
