Hey guys!!

I'm a bit of a bargain hunter, and I love to shop!!

Where do you do your shopping - for anything?? Clothes, CD's DVD's, eating out etc etc - share your shopping secrets!!!!

I've recently come accross:

BIA - a new ladies fashion retail shop. There is one at Arndale, i'm sure there are more. Decent quality fashion for unbelievably cheap prices!!! Check it out ladies, its awesome!!

We also recently went to an ethiopian resturant on port rd, the food was beautiful, and was really well priced as well. and it BYO booze, which saves eeryone a pretty penny!!! I'll find out what its called and the address and put it up here soon.

If I'm going on a massive bi-annual rave clothing shopping spree, I'll cough the $160 return plane trip to melbourne and visit Ministry of Style. I love 3rd Dimension, but $55 for the same T I pay $30 in melb for is a bit steep.

Buy a couple of pairs of pants and a few T's, and it is cheaper to pay fpr the flight over....and I get a quick 1 day holiday in melboure hehe

I hate Harvey Norman, they rant and rave about how they are the cheapest, they are far from it! JB Hi-Fi I find a hell of a lot cheaper than HN's.

Have bought a few pieces of clothing there... is pretty good and definitely worth a look for both work and casual

Hehe, yeah shooter, we were all making a fair few cracks about the idea of ethiopian before we got there. We thought we were all gonna have to stand in a field and wait for a untie nations chopper to drop bags of rice own, and then we'd have to fight each other for it...



but seriously, the food is great. You don't get served much,. but it is very filling. The bread is called endura(sp?) and it swells in your stomach, which fills you up nice and quick. I wasn't even hungry come lunch time the next day!!

Think I need to get the address of this restaurant from you Em.... sounds like a great place to go and eat...

yeah it is really good. v small tho, will only seat about 20 ppl tops.... I'll ring my bf's mate and find out the name of it... brb

For eating: Raj on Taj - $6.50 lunch specials are incredible value for the serve and quality of food! I recomend the chiken vindaloo and chicken spinach!

For Drinking: Loco bar @ casino is good, black cat on a friday.

Clothes - agree with Dav - i do a once or twice yearly flight to melbs, spend 1k and get 2k`s worth of value - very cheap and u get a weekend away! love it!

Im not tooo much of a bargain hunter,, i.e i wont buy something just cos its cheap, my attitude is usually - u get wat u pay for, hence happy to pay more for a better built item. i.e jeans - cheap jeans is a pet hate, u can tell straight away if their cheap or decent..

very true... for boys.

For girls, our fashion seems to go out a lot quicker than boys, and if we want to keep up (which, I don't usually bother) we need to buy more often...

But yeah, Slide, you are dead right on the cheap jeans on guys, you can spot them a mile away!

I hate purchasing clothing in Australia after seeing the prices in South East Asia and South America...

I feel like I'm getting ripped of for everything!

Damm getting wripped off
