Anthems @ St Pauls Wrap Up!

G'day people!
Just making a thread for everyone to post some thoughts on tonights stellar event

This is a team post on behalf of myself (dan) and pink 'n' fluffy (han)
First LETS ALL THANK PAUL FOR THE HARD WORK HE'S PUT IN TO MAKE TONIGHT A FANTABULOUS NIGHT!!
And a big thankyou to all the team for the team effort on putting this show together and making it all work!!
Both agree the best rave ever been to!!
Great crowd, everyone was so happy and nice, easy to talk to which made it all the more enjoyable!!

wow what a nigh thanks to paul and team for a wicked rave happyb and eskimopie danced like we had ants in our pants. we even a a first timer with us and it blew her away she could not beleive how nice and happy and friendly everyone was it was just puuurfect

WOW guys what a night... the NRG in the there was electric, and I couldnt stop dancing even on the way home I was dancing up the street..

well done those in the store, still got out and had a great night from what I heard..

We have now set oursleves a huge standard, and I think we can live up to it.. and even make it better!!

but our anthems show wouldnt have been as good without the MANY MANY smilling face who attended.. So I also add a thank you to all that turned up and help create that NRG!!

Yeah, good stuff everyone. It was a wikid nite.

I'd not been to St Pauls before. It's gotta be one of the most awesome venues in Oz! It had everything! Two bars, three dancing areas, chill out areas, pokies, and of course the big main area was very cool, and filled with dancers!

I had the best night out ever.
Was so impressed with jayse's set Sneaking in some dnb in his set was awesome ;p
The crowd all looked to be enjoying themselves quite a lot

Anthems was fantastic - St pauls is such a fantastic venue for an event like this.

paul - you needed HEAPS more bar staff - we had to wait waaayyy too long for drinks - the poor two girls downstairs were rushed off their feet all night - but the cheap smirnoff double clacks almost made up for it! I miss the couches downstairs - those wooden chairs can get a little uncomfortable!


I though Josh's set in the house room was the highlight of the night - she really got into what she was playing and although it was late in the night, she managed to REALLY lift the spirits of everyone, and carried everyone with her. She clearly loves the music she played, and loved sharing it with her.

So overall - it was an awesome night - PLEASE have another anthems at St pauls!

yeah you bastard u made me drive down from mount gambier!
The fact that I had a fucken wild night, caught up with a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time and even met a few new ones made up for it tho! was feelin a bit sketchy when i got back home to the mount tho.
Big shout out to Mr. Xylic for the tickets and a great reason to come back to adelaide!
Oh and by the way nice furry white pants mate!!!!!

Unfortunately the bar and staff were out of our control, but I know they were looking for last minute staff replacements when other staff couldn't make it. Long weekends are always tough....just like you don't want to work on them, neither do they.

Josh always seems to get into the music more than most DJs....she's always good value on the dex.

As for another anthems at St Pauls, that's out of our hands and up to whoever buys the venue. But some prayers to the Rave Gods can't hurt

Was a well wicked event, ill be there for all future anthems you can be sure, loved the music and the venue and the happy smiling faces all around, big ups to all involved. * prays to the rave gods for another @ St Pauls.*

i agree he always plays a good set and gets the party rocken it was a good to here a bit of a mixture anyways...i loved it

I would like to thank Paul for getting the DnB room up for us DnB followers.. MPK's set was awesome, pat on the back for him. I should of stayed in that room the whole night..

some wicked tunes in the house room, everytime I walked past it, there was a classic tune on, loved it..

up stairs, well, not a fan of that music, but I tell ya what, they were crankin out some nice tunes too, was lovin it there too..

awesome show indeed, sooo much better than last year..

Yes i noticed... I also noticed you didn't crank with me once throughout the whole entire night either...

Well done to all who helped make anthems at St. Pauls such a succesful and meemorable night
