Twinkie
A female who goes to a party only because it is the "in" thing to do, easily recognized by shoes that are impossible to dance in and skimpy skirts.

I can think of several places in Adelaide that should re-name themselves

Nothing - but I think you missed the point that some chicks are at raves for the wrong reason.....

personally i think alcohol should be banned from raves....brings out the idiots
and i HATE it when guys try and hit on chicks at raves....IT COULDNT BE FURTHER FROM WHAT RAVING IS ABOUT!!!!

Ravers r the 1s with saucer eyes that shudder in beat with the music, they r the hippies of the 21st century with love, peace n happiness written on their faces. Ravers love the hugs n the universal sounds of the beats which vibrate every1 2 the very core of their being. They live for the next big show when they all get together again 2 experience their love of the dance n the friendships they make along the way. Bass, Beat n the Melody are all that exist 2 the raver n the raver is the 1, that while coming down off product, will consume more lol 'Reach for the lazers n crank it hard or go home'

I think that's going a bit extreme banning alcohol from raves... most ppl are ok on alcohol.. your always going to get those few who try and ruin it.. weather it be from drinking alcohol or other things.

Ppl got to raves to meet people, it's inevitable that ppl are going to get hit on no mater where you go! i think it's less prevelant at raves, but that's mainly coz raves give off a different vibe and people are generally more friendly and open to meeting new people.

I've never been "hit" on at a rave the same way i've been "hit" on at a club, but even so, most people just want someone to talk to!

Agreed on both points.

I enjoy my alcohol, and I find it makes me even more friendly and outgoing (which most would think is near impossible). It's never made me aggressive, or do noteworthy bad things.

I think being on alcohol/illegal drugs are same in the way they have different effects on everyone. Some people can have either/or and be the most friendly people in the world .. others get aggro, or do stupid shit and so forth.

When I'm at a rave I'll quite happily talk to anyone, it's a social event for me - and while my behavior to females in the past in these circumstances has been more flirtatious, I don't think it's on par with "hitting on" them. I still tend to think there's just a mutual respect and mind-set at a rave .. 99.9% of people are there to have a good time and socialise - not to "pick up" per se.
