tekkers31 Mar 2005, 9:02pm

whats the difference between pop & webmail??

PaulHamon31 Mar 2005, 9:09pm

POP is where you use a email program like Outlook Express to recieve your mail and webmail is like hotmail.

these are both!

PaulHamon5 Sep 2005, 10:09pm

actually.. that was number 50

I've just ordered some more...

Jutsin21 Sep 2005, 4:56am

This is a bandwagon I'm quite happy to jump on .. if the e-mail addies are still available that is.

.. and why do I deserve one with such a low post count? Because I'm an active lurker on the forums and my frequency of posting is not a real indication of how involved I am .. !

I will try harder to post though, honest.

PaulHamon21 Sep 2005, 11:14am

I think that must be the case, because mine works fine

Remember the incoming POP3 address is: mail.anthems.com.au
The outgoing POP3 address is: your existing POP3 outgoing address .. example: mine is mail.netspace.net.au, because my main used POP3 e-mail is through netspace.

Does that make sense?

u still got records?

Uzi21 Feb 2007, 8:39pm

nah sold of what i had before i moved to sydney to takeup work at Channel V and Foxtel, but managed to put most of what i wanted to keep to cd or digital format on an external hd. As it turned out while in Sydney i found myself mixing cds. Kinda pisses me off time to time looking back at it. But hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Never the less these days mixing cds seems to be the go. Only wish i had the internet and access to music like today back in the day, would have saved a lot of $$ handed over at Centrals buying records.. The beauty of today is with the use of equipment like Final Scratch and access to bigger viariaty of music off the net, who needs to buy records. As it is ive found, a lot of the stuff i find myself listening to i find off albums and cds and mixing them on a decant cd mixer is just as cool as a set of 1200's. Better still havn both would suit me fine.....lol
