ha ha ha, I was thinking that too - saving like a mofo for the South African trip - but when a friend offered me a cheaper ticket I could not refuse.....bring on Sven Vath, Chemical Bros (even though I've seen them twice before), John Digweed, Roger Sanchez, Eddie Halliwell, Markus Schulz, Robbie Rivera (an old favourite of mine) and Aesop Rock (one of the best hip hop artists I've heard in years , who I'm most excited about seeing)....this show is going to be insane


I think you should wear a ra-ra skirt with polka dots, stripy red and black stockings, and a crop top that shows your stomach and f*ck me boots to really top off the outfit.....but seriously (as I always say when you post anything about what you are going to wear, like we care) its not about what you wear....ITS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC!!!!!

Some people like to discuss their outfits.. the way you look and dress adds to the atmosphere for some people. It's not like outfits for the day is taking over the music side of this thread. If your not interested then don't take part in the side of the discussion...

- no alcohol or drugs permitted
- no violence will be accepted
- no chewing gum
- bad attitudes will not be tolerated
- no animals, pyrotechnics

- no professional cameras or cameras with zoom
- no recording devices of any kind permitted functions will be permitted
- you may be filmed at this event for broadcasting

There are no pass outs possible for this event.

ATM

SAFETY

It really does suck that there are NO pass outs allowed at all....not that I want to leave, but sometimes (especially on a hot day like its going to be) its nice to go and have a drink in an air conditioned bar

Due to circumstance’s beyond our control and it is with regret that Future Entertainment announces the cancellation of two DJs from the Future Music Festival Tour line up – DJ Yoda and Robbie Rivera

DJ Yoda has cancelled due to health reasons and was too unwell to make the journey.

Robbie Rivera has cancelled due to personal reasons.


Refunds will be granted at the point of purchase for tickets presented before the event.

Future Entertainment apologises for the inconvenience caused by this late news.

We look forward to a great tour with over 150 artists appearing over the national event dates.

Digweed (legend status), Eddie Halliwell (after hearing friends talk about his set I'll be at his stage, not the Chems), Markus Schulz (same as for Eddie - seen the Chems twice before so meh - Schulz is where I'll be), Sven Vath (also legend status), Roger Sanchez (more legends!!!!), the Shapeshifters....and on a hip hop tip Evil Nine and Aesop Rock (and I hope Evil Nine get Aesop Rock up on their stage to do their collaborated song "Crooked"), and local lad Staen 1.....and so many other great acts I'm so excited the day is finally here

It was such an awesome day! I don't care that it "apparently" got to 44 degrees.. it still rocked and i'll be back again next year!

John Digweed, Sven Vath, Eddie Halliwell.. OMG.. words cannot describe how amazing these guys were!! I had been looking forward particularly to Sven Vath all week and he exceeded all my expectations!

Didn't really catch up with many anthemites, but did see Ike (whom i forgot to get a photo off...) and Lauren.

The only thing i didn't like about the day was the dirt!!! i inhaled so much crap!!! But that's because of the lack of rain.. there just wasn't enough grass cover... the one thing i looked forward to was going home and having a shower!! haha

I had an awesome day. Dancing in the dirt reminded me of Enchanted somehow but with more pretty people.

My highlight of the evening was dancing to Shapeshifters set, then Roger Sanchez followed by Sven Vath. Chemical Brothers and John Digweed were a major letdown for me.

My other half and I ventured over to the Future Funk stage and that was pretty cool. I think we saw Skyyver and Djon play but I wasnt sure coz I'm not really a big fan of dnb.

Caught up with quite a few Anthemites and that was cool. Just like how I always see you lot... HAPPY and smiling despite the heat

Loved the day! Had a ball and heaps good seeing all you anthemites, 1st I saw was Ike then Cris P lol

Going back next year for sure!

I had the best day where I seemed to be in the right place at the right time, for all acts I wanted to see.....the big stand outs for me where Eddie Halliwell (number one for the day....he was truly insane), Aesop Rock (as good as I expected them to be, and what a great vibe amongst the crowd when they were playing - I love good intelligent hip hop so much), Potbelleez (I only caught the very end when they played 'Don't Hold Back', but that joint was jumping right about then), and while I was going between Markus Schulz and the Chemical Bros I got to see my fave Chem tracks in Galvanize, Believe and Block Rocking Beats...the rest of the last few hours was spent cranking to Markus Schulz's set....amazing stuff!!!!!

I also didn't think much of Sven Vath or Digweed, and I expected great things from both of those legends.....ah, it was hot as therefore nobody was at their best

Massive ups to the breakfast crew who started the day in true mayhemic fashion, and big ups to the rest of the sexy beasts I caught up with while there.....what a happy smiley bunch we all were
