Loads of people have said they hang on to glow-sticks from special big nights out, long after they lose their glow, because they hold such sentimental value.

What else is hanging around your house that you just can't let go of - silly, funny or embarassing???? And, more importantly, why can't you let it go????

e.g. I have a small plastic brontosaurus that accompanied me thoughout my backpacking tour of Europe for over 2 years and he's still in my possession. I found him in the cafe @The London Dome and caused one of those moments when you fall about on the floor laughing, whilst everyone around you gives you strange looks......I can't chuck him out, as he always makes me smile remembering that afternoon smile.gif

Dont you just love those memories.

I have an empty glass bottle of redbull from Thailand. It's small and brown and looks like a medicine bottle. The only way we knew it was redbull was from the picture of the 2 bulls butting horns on the label.

It always reminds me of a beach party in Koh Samui where we went without substances and had a really great time dancing with the locals to some very cool DJs. The energy from the dancefloor and the redbull got us through the night.

I have a small pile of glowsticks sitting at home...also ticket stubs...loads of em! They just sit there to remind me how many great nights ive had...also I have lots of little momentos sitting around the place...from all the towns in australia I visited when I spent two months on the road for work. Little gifts from mates also enjoy collecting dust on my shelves!
I dont want to throw anything out...as it still holds a"sentimental" value to me. Call me a sucker for sentimental things...I just enjoy being able to look around my house and say "yeah man, thats what I did back...."

Hey, yeah I have one of those except I got it from Korruption when it was around. The lady said that it was 'Concentrated Red Bull' meaning that you had to mix it with lemonade or something. I drank the whole bottle straight and it didn't do much..

nothing, I throw away everything... does that make me non-sentimental?

i still have my stubs from public enemy and ice-t at the thebby, as well as the femmes at the thebby, from the early nineties
two extremely excellent shows!

Ewww you went and saw the femmes. (jealous). I have an obsession with keeping boxes, as in you buy a phone, toastyer etc and i keep the box intact with all the packing, so when you move you have a box for it. My girlgfriend thinks i am weird. ohmy.gif

I think keeping glowsticks in your freezer for over 4 years is weirder **Kandii you know whom I am talking about**

I have a little Vibrating Furby he is Orange and has been to so many Club night's and Raves he's nearly worn out. He 1st made his apperance at the Loft, Kasey Taylor was playing and the place was crazy. Later that evening/morning he was named at the after party as RP what it means only made sence to the girl who named him tongue.gif

On the "glowsticks in the freezer" topic, my two step kids both swear to god that glowsticks get there glow back once they have been in the freezer.

Kids come out with the wierdest things hey.

I can't think of anything i still have that i can't throw out.......?????? I do have some micro machine cars i had when i was a kid, spose that counts. wink.gif
