Autosalon 2007

Autosalon is fast approaching (Aug). I was just wondering whether anyone was going to enter etc. I have found the last few rounds in Adelaide a bit disappointing What do you think?

What sorta car do you have and is it going to be ready in time for the show?? Cause I think I'm running out of time as ususal!!
Entering with a club or as an individual?

well ive got a vp that is custom with about $20.000 spent on it

But seriously, I'd be keen to check out the quality of cars after being disappointed in previous events.

I reckon next year Ace should enter his car Just for the fun of it He likes showing off and all. Just needs his Apexi Power FC Computer and his mods are pretty much complete as far as under the bonnet goes.

And I reckon our mate Ben should enter his VN Commie. He's spent in access of $80k on mods. Looks f*cking sweet as!

He has since got his door handles and some other stuff chromed.

And anything you see under the hood that's shining, that's 100% chrome baby!

This bad boy also has the BIGGEST cam shaft possible.

He had to rip out the airconditioning gear to make room for his mods

And that's just a few of them.

Trust me, this thing FLIES. And Ben, knows how to drive

not entering, my falcons a little too stock looking, if theres a dirty car segment then im in otherwise lol ill just be going to have a looksy around. hopefully ittle be better than the last few years, they haven't really been worth the entry fee.

proberlly wont go. Been to way to many car shows and they seem to get worse every year and the price goes up. But in saying that i might end up going there with a few mates and checking out the machines

Yeah they are costing an arm and leg these days just to go see these shows
Particularly when the shows aren't that great I sorta end up regreting I paid that much!

I will be going for sure! but not entering as I sold the Lancer earlier this year...

However, next year we wil have our new car ready and most likely enter that!!

Me, Calvin and his mate Mark went. We got $5 discount from the net (woo-hoo) so can't complain to much for $13.

It wasn't the greatest.. and i'm sure it used to be alot bigger. Therer were a couple of good cars there.. impressive paint jobs etc.. but most were pretty standard Skylines that you'd see on the road's everyday...
