But I'm watching the docco on tv at the mo, and I'm curious to know what everyone else thinks??

Personally, I think she's innocent. No one is stupid enough to put that amount of marijuana in a body board bag and go to Bali of all places.

What do YOU think??

i agree with ya Kandii, i think shes innocent but i think that they are goin to do their best to make an example of her and find her guilty just to show everyone that they are all big and powerful. its pretty gay for schappelle (phat name tho)

there is no way anyone with half a brain would try to smuggle something that obvious o/s, let alone to indonesia, where they have the death penalty

i know myself, i wasnt even game enuf to try and take a couple of lollies with me wen i went to Bali! no matter how many inventive ways we came up with in order to hide them, we decided it just wasnt worth it...our lives were more important than the 1 or 2 great nites we would hav had if we got away with it...

My biggest concern is that the Bali 9 are gonna f**k things up for her...

"what we do for one we must do for all..." and because they want to prosecute the 9, as they are clearly guilty, they are gonna prosecute Schappelle as well.

Had to laugh when one of the Bali 9 said "whatever happened to Schappelle Corby is happening to me" - yeah dude, when you were going thru the baggage terminal, they pulled up your shirt and strapped massive amounts of herion to your body without you knowing. Dumb arse.

I completely forgot that doco was on tonight. Was anything new said? We may never know the truth, but my gut feeling is that she is innocent, and I have very good instincts.

Not really, they just showed footage we've already seen, but showed FOR and AGAINST and they spoke with her lawyer, her financier, her family, analysed stuff Schappelle has said over the last 7 months etc...

They had a sms/phone vote and 91% of Australians that voted think she's innocent

Yeah, typical media telling us they have new evidence, when in fact they're just rehashing old news.

Still, if it was me over there, I would definately want my face in the news every night. That way the government etc cant ignore it, and hope it goes away

Is there actually anything that our goverment can do? I remember hearing something about her being able to serve her sentence if she gets one in an aussie jail. Is there any truth to that?

I kind of think she's innocent, mostly because it doesn't make sense to ship weed over there, but something doesn't sit right with her. I just don't trust her for some reason. In understand the stress she is under, but I can see something in her eyes I don't like.

Thats very deep Davin, i know what you mean though, she does look a little dodgy but you cant judge a book by it cover, plus noone can really be dumb enough to try to smuggle it over in such an obvious way....

Last nights special on schappelle, cemented my opinion further. You cant base your beliefs on an Australian docco, 60 mins, very biased..

she was bringning in hydro - BIG bickies in indo if u kno wat ur doin.

Dad lived in indo for 12 years until very recently - and has alot of info/tips on this case that the media arnt aware of..

in saying that, she shouldnt die for a bit of week - aus government should be doing alot more to get her back - feel for her... but she knew it when she double vacuum wrapped the weed and stuck it in her suitcase.. either that or her bro..

Interesting.....the whole argument of most people who believe in her innocence is "Why would you risk taking dope to Bali when it's worth much more here?" This changes things somewhat....

As far as Indonesian law's concerned, she's guilty - the dope was found in her possession, end of story. Doesn't matter how it got there or who else might be involved.

I do agree that the dealth penalty is wrong, especially for something that many Australians don't see as being a hardcore criminal act. Our political relationship with Indonesia is already strained, I'd hate to have to be the foreign diplomat who has to decide what action to take.....

The dealth penalty is not right, but its not our justice system or our culture.... obviously the balinese authorities think that killing ppl is ok... different strokes for different folks...

But, then again, perhaps Aussie laws aren't strict enough *refers to the magistrate getting off very lightly after hitting a man on his pushie and leaving him for dead*

Bah... if the whole world were ravers, there would be no need for this thread, as Schappelle Corbywould be home by now... guilty or innocent, coz no one would've cared!!!!

i hav always thought i could see something suss about her wen i looked into her eyes, but i always gave her the benefit of the doubt, and put it down to being s**t-scared!

You know what, now hat you guys have said that, I can actually see what you mean. She is either just really stupid and innocent, or really smart and guilty (if that makes any sense.)

what I mean is, everything she says is well prepared, and she says it all wih quite a lot of confidence. If it was me, I'd be bawling my eyes out begging to go home....

The evidents as from where i sit do not 100% convince me that she did this she looked shocked and horrified at the dope...
So for now until proven wrong she's Innocent in my books..
