Free Street Fighter Tournament!

I just thought I'd post this here in case anyone is interested in entering, Tournament Kumite: Just for Kicks!

This arcade stage Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike tournament will be held at Tunza Fun Tea Tree Plaza on Thursday the 5th of April at 6:30PM
The tournament will begin at 6:30, all players must put their name down before we start.

The Tournament
There will be only one event running on the day and it will be open to all entrants. Completely random seeding will be used. Also, to give every player the best chance, double elimination will be in place!*

Registration is FREE Game play is FREE
All you have to do is enter and have some fun. This competition is intended as a warm up before our main, once a year, multi event extravaganza. Want to lay down the law before the big one? Want try your hand at 3rd Strike or maybe show off the skills you already have? What to have some fun and meet other Adelaide SF players? This is where it’s at!

do you get many ppl applying for these tournaments?

This is the first free tournament we've run, so it'll be interesting to see how many ppl enter. I think the last Street Fighter Comp had about 16 ppl?

On the day, so I'm guessing rock up at 6pm just to be sure.

doesnt suprise me how many of them there are...

For those who are interested there will be a Street Fighter meet at TTP this Thursday 22nd at 6:30pm, for anyone wanting to battle it out with other players. This isn't a free event, it's nothing official, just a bunch of guys who play will be there if you wanna challenge.

Last week was pretty crazy, there were players there all night and the battles were intense, great fun to watch.

Well, i entered and had a good time.
I was late so I was put into the losers bracket.
So I only got 1 chance. I managed to win two matches though, only to lose in my 3rd 2-1.

Was good times though.

You should have said hello!! That's weird that they put you into the second stream though... How late were you? The comp ended up starting late too.

Yeah, I met Dan through myspace and have met up with him and tess and chris (not sure if you know him) a few times to DDR at Marion. The fact that i ran into him last night was so very very random.

He's on AAG, (adelaidearcadegaming.com) he mentioned that his friend was late... then you mentioned you were late... I did the math

I play DDR (and yes I know Chris) and was one of the girls who ran the DDR comp in February
